Modular portable storage container system
12049354 · 2024-07-30 · ·

A modular portable storage container system includes a first container section and a second container section, each of the first and second container sections having a structural frame. A blocking frame is sized and shaped to fit within a vehicle cargo compartment. A latch mechanism selectively retains the structural frame of each of the first and second container sections in contact with the blocking frame. A position sensor is in communication with a position indicator. The position sensor detects a position of the first and second container sections relative to the blocking frame. The position indicator indicates a position of the first and second container sections relative to the blocking frame. A plurality of casters affixed to a bottom surface of the first and second container sections allows the first and second container sections to roll over the floor.

The invention provides a farm from a box system and at least one container that includes all components and tools required to assist communities in being able to conduct agricultural activities in order to provide sufficient food for or for other off-grid localized food production, e.g., for schools, correctional facilities, etc. The at least one container is provided in a compact form for shipping to locations where needed and provides the necessary tools, agricultural supplies, power and irrigation to facilitate growth of sustainable crops. The invention also provides a method of use of the systems and containers described herein for assisting people in farming activities conducted outside of the containers, thus enabling the system owner to successfully and efficiently conduct organic and small scale farming.

PALLET FOR CYLINDERS, METHOD FOR ARRANGING CYLINDERS IN A PALLET, AND PALLET WITH CYLINDERS

The invention relates to the field of transportation and storage of gas cylinders, and specifically to a container for gas cylinders, in particular, cylinders for pressurized or liquefied gas, a method for arranging gas cylinders in the container, in particular, cylinders for pressurized or liquefied gas, and a container with gas cylinders, in particular, cylinders for pressurized or liquefied gas. The container for gas cylinders comprises a housing and at least one pipeline positioned to be connected with the gas cylinders in the lower part of the framework. The method comprises arranging the gas cylinders in a framework of the container; and connecting at least one pipeline with the gas cylinders in a lower part of the framework. The container with gas cylinders comprises a framework; at least one gas cylinder; and at least one pipeline connected with the at least one gas cylinder in a lower part of the framework. The technical effect involves simplification and expediting of the removal of condensate and impurities from the gas cylinders during handling the container containing the gas cylinders, in particular, the gas cylinders for natural gas. The additional technical effect is the reduction of the amount of condensate and impurities in the gas cylinders, in particular, the gas cylinders for natural gas, during handling the container containing the gas cylinders, in particular, the gas cylinders for natural gas.

Building modules

A building module has an exterior shape generally of a cuboid having side, end, top and bottom faces, and fabricated from metal, the module being hollow and defining a space of a size suitable for occupation by a person. The module includes fastening elements (21, 69) to allow the module to be fastened to another adjacent module and to allow for engagement by standard load handling equipment for handling freight containers. The module has an overall exterior width greater than 2700 mm and includes a first set of fastening elements (21, 69A, 69B, 69C, 69D) in the region of a first end of the top of the module and a second end of the top of the module. The fastening elements of each set include two fastening elements (e.g. 21 and 69C) spaced apart from one another at a center-to-center spacing (D) of about (2260) mm.

Reed switch apparatus and method of using same
10198921 · 2019-02-05 ·

A transportable container assembly including a transportable container defining an enclosed interior space and having an opening member cooperatively engaging a mounting frame. The opening member has a closed position and an open position and access to the interior space is permitted in the open position. A localized device or system is attached to the transportable container and is coupled to an electrical power source. A reed switch apparatus coupled to the transportable container communicates the position of the opening member to the localized device or system. The localized device or system provides a localized function depending on the reported position of the opening member. The localized function includes at least one of a group consisting of a local lighting function, local locking mechanism action and local refrigeration system action/function. The localized device or system communicates the position of the opening member to a remote device or system at a location remote from the transportable container. The remote device or system is capable of providing remote monitoring and control functions or actions at the transportable container depending on the communicated position of the opening member.
