The present disclosure relates to containers and methods of making same for oral products made or derived from tobacco, incorporate tobacco, or may be tobacco-free and are intended for human consumption. The disclosed containers incorporate one or more of an alignment mechanism, a seal arrangement, a retention mechanism, or a tamper-evident feature to suit a particular application.

A storage apparatus with variable storage capacity, wherein items can be stored in an isolated manner. The storage apparatus includes a main compartment and additional compartments. The main compartment and the additional compartment include an interlocking mechanism for coupling the additional compartment to the main compartment, and for coupling the additional compartment to another additional compartment. The additional compartments can have one or more ventilation holes.

A snack food container is configured with a container compartment and a receptacle compartment. The container compartment is configured to contain shelled foods such as sunflower seeds. The receptacle compartment is configured to receive discarded skins such as sunflower seed skins. The snack food container can have a rotatable lid with an aperture that is selectively alignable with either the container compartment or the receptacle compartment. The lid aperture can be sized and shaped in a manner to best assist in dispensing fresh seeds from the container compartment into a user's mouth, and to receive discarded skins from the user's mouth.

Described is a needle assembly magazine comprising of a housing adapted to contain a plurality of needle assemblies and a slider movably disposed within the housing. The housing has a first opening providing access to an unused needle assembly and a second opening for receiving into the housing a used needle assembly. The slider separates the housing into a first region for unused needle assemblies and a second region for used needle assemblies. Movement of the slider advances the unused needle assemblies within the housing toward the first opening.

A receptacle accessory for fitting on a package for consumer goods is provided, the package having a body portion and a lid portion hingedly attached to the body portion, the receptacle accessory including: a cap portion configured to receive and releasably retain the lid portion of the package by an interference fit, the cap portion including a front wall, a rear wall, and a lateral top wall connecting the front wall and the rear wall; and a compartment configured to receive and retain used consumer goods, the compartment being disposed on a face of the front wall facing away from the rear wall. A packaging unit for hygiene articles is formed from a sheet of material having an inner surface and an outer surface. The inner surface includes an edge zone including an inner edge portion and an outer edge portion. The sheet has at least one folding axis dividing the sheet into a first region and a second region. The inner edge portion and the outer edge portion of the edge zone of the first region is provided with adhesive, and the other of the inner edge portion and the outer edge portion of the edge zone of the first region is adhesive-free. Further, one of the inner edge portion and the outer edge portion of the edge zone of the second region is provided with adhesive, and the other is adhesive-free in a complementary manner to the edge zone of the first region.

The invention relates to a container for tobacco related or smoking related articles, in particular snus, and a method of manufacturing such a container. The container comprises a base portion and a top portion defining a first compartment between the base portion and the top portion. The base portion or the top portion comprises a displaceable wall and a cover defining a second compartment between the displaceable wall and the cover. The displaceable wall is coupled to the base portion or the top portion by a screw thread for displacing the displaceable wall by rotating the displaceable wall.

A refillable container for a product for oral consumption is provided, the container including: a refill component; a casing having an access opening at a top end of the casing, the casing being configured to removably receive the refill component through the access opening; and a lid movable between a closed position in which the lid occludes the access opening and an open position in which the lid is displaced to reveal the access opening and enable access to the refill unit, the refill component including a rigid cup-shaped body including a bottom wall and a side wall, the cup-shaped body defining an internal receptacle to accommodate the product, and the bottom wall of the cup-shaped body including a downwardly concave portion, such that when the refill component is received inside the casing a compartment is defined between the downwardly concave portion and a bottom wall of the casing.

A receptacle accessory for fitting on a package for consumer goods is provided, the package having a body portion and a lid portion hingedly attached to the body portion, the receptacle accessory including: a cap portion configured to receive and releasably retain the lid portion of the package by an interference fit, the cap portion including a front wall, a rear wall, and a lateral top wall connecting the front wall and the rear wall; and a compartment configured to receive and retain used consumer goods, the compartment being disposed on a face of the front wall facing away from the rear wall. A cigarette butt holding tube including a tube assembly, lid assembly, and a cigarette pack assembly is disclosed. These assemblies in conjunction with one another provide an easy-to-use cigarette butt disposal solution to help reduce littering. The cigarette pack assembly includes a spacing within the cigarette pack for a tube of the tube assembly to be received therein. The tube includes a tube opening at a top end that is larger than the width of a cigarette butt. The tube is selectively sealed by a lid of the lid assembly. Once a user is finished smoking a cigarette, the used cigarette butt can be conveniently disposed of and sealed within the tube. The tube being smell proof, fireproof, and fire resistant prevents the smell of smoke within the cigarette pack. The tube also prevents a still lit cigarette butt from setting fire to the remaining cigarettes.
