A container includes a base and a cap that engages a portion of the base. The base has a body portion and a neck portion, where the neck portion defines an open end. The cap has a housing and a hinged lid. The housing defines an open cavity in the cap, and the neck portion extends into the open cavity. The hinged lid is movable between an open position providing access to the cavity and a closed portion sealing the cavity.

The present disclosure relates to containers and methods of making same for oral products made or derived from tobacco, incorporate tobacco, or may be tobacco-free and are intended for human consumption. The disclosed containers incorporate one or more of an alignment mechanism, a seal arrangement, a retention mechanism, or a tamper-evident feature to suit a particular application.

The container may comprise a box, a lid, at least a first bundle and a second bundle of consumer goods, and an expandable spacer. The expandable spacer comprises at least one spacer weakening line. The at least one spacer weakening line is provided on the spacer bottom wall. The expandable spacer has an initial size that is defined by an initial distance between the first side wall and the second side wall of the expandable spacer for containing a predetermined number of consumer goods. The spacer weakening line is configured to break when more than the predetermined number of consumer goods are inserted between the expandable spacer walls so that the first and the second side walls of the expandable spacer are spaced further apart. Methods of using disclosed containers are also disclosed.

A package with a sliding opening for consumer goods can include a group of consumer goods; a container that is tub-shaped, which contains the group of consumer goods and comprises an extraction opening for the extraction of consumer goods; a closing label, which is fixed in a repositionable manner to the first container to open and close the extraction opening; a covering of the first container, which is made starting from a blank of wrapping material; a casing made starting from a blank of wrapping material. The casing is arranged externally to the covering and is slidingly coupled to the covering to be movable between a closing position, in which access to the group of consumer goods is not allowed, and an opening position, in which access to the group of consumer goods is allowed.

A battery holder (10) comprising a translucent, extruded polypropylene body (11) having a rectangular passage (12) therethrough. A liquid containing assembly includes a clamping device, a supplementary package and a positioning mechanism. A dual purpose food packaging refill and waste receptacle is disclosed. The receptacle is substantially impervious to passage of oxygen and water, thus, preserving freshness of snack foods, such as sunflower seeds or nuts. The receptacle includes a food grade bag affixed to pliable or semi-rigid cylinder that may be sealed at the opening. Once the receptacle is opened and the contents extracted, such as being emptied into a separate container, the packaging serves as a receptacle for residual material that is inedible or otherwise disposable by the consumer.
