MULTIPLE MODULAR SYSTEM FOR THE FORMATION OF PARTICLES IN POWDER AND MICROCAPSULE FORM FOR DIFFERENT PROCESSES
The present invention discloses a multiple modular system for the formation of powders, characterized in that it comprises a tower (1) comprising an interchangeable head A selected from the group consisting of a disk spray unit A1; a nozzle spray unit A2; a dual fluid spray unit A3 and a high temperature spray unit A4; and wherein said tower (1) comprises an interchangeable collector installed in the lower part B of the tower selected from the group consisting of collector type 1 (B1), collector type 2 (B2), collector type 3 (B3) and collector type 4 (B4) or combinations of the same.
BUTYRATE-PRODUCING BACTERIUM AND USE THEREOF
A butyrate-producing bacterium belonging to Anaerostipes hadrus is provided. The amount of butyrate produced is at least 1.5 times that of Anaerostipes hadrus YIT 10092.sup.T (DSM 3319.sup.T) and is measured by thawing a frozen stock solution of the bacterial strain (a 10% (w/v) skim milk-2% sodium glutamate solution with suspended bacterial cells) (cell count: 2.0 to 5.5×10.sup.10 cells/mL), inoculating the solution at 1% to 4 mL of a PY liquid medium supplemented with 33 mM sodium acetate and 0.5 (w/v) % glucose (PYGA medium), followed by anaerobic culture at 37° C. for 24 hours, then inoculating the culture solution at 1% to a PYGA medium, followed by anaerobic culture at 37° C. for 24 hours, then inoculating the culture solution at 1% to a PY medium containing 33 mM sodium acetate and 0.5 (w/v) % L-sorbose, followed by anaerobic culture at 37° C. for 24 hours, and then measuring the butyrate concentration.
BIDENS PILOSA AND POLYACETYLENIC COMPOUNDS FOR PREVENTION AND TREATMENT OF COCCIDIOSIS
A composition for use in prevention, inhibition and/or treatment of coccidiosis in an animal is disclosed. The composition comprises an effective amount of Bidens pilosa, an active constituent thereof, or an active compound isolated therefrom. In another aspect, a composition for use in enhancing growth in an animal is disclosed. The composition comprising an animal feed and an effective amount of Bidens pilosa, or an isolated active constituent comprising a polyacetylenic compound.

METHODS FOR ENCAPSULATION
The present invention relates to methods for encapsulating a bioactive agent such as a microorganism, methods for making a modified food, feed, cosmetic, plant health, seed health or pharmaceutical product comprising heteropolymer particles encapsulating a bioactive agent such as a microorganism, compositions and modified products comprising heteropolymer particles of a phenolic compound and a protein, and a bioactive agent encapsulated therein obtainable by such methods. Also provided is a method for delivering a bioactive agent to a subject, comprising administering to said subject the modified food, feed, cosmetic, plant health, seed health or pharmaceutical product described herein.
Pet food compositions
Described herein are pet food compositions comprising: a beta glucan; and a pentacyclic triterpene; wherein the weight ratio of the beta glucan to the pentacyclic triterpene, is about 1:1. Methods of making and using these compositions are also described.
