APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTAINER INTERFACE OPERATIONS
A transport container is provided. The transport container includes a body having a base, a cover, an opening, and at least one side wall all defining a cavity therebetween. The transport container also includes an electronic controller. The electronic controller is configured to determine a geographic route from a carrier destination location to a destination location based on received carrier transfer information and received transportation information. The electronic controller is also configured to display the carrier transfer information on a user interface when the transport container is located at a carrier initial location. The electronic controller is further configured to deploy the transport container when the transport container is located at the carrier initial location.
DELIVERED PACKAGE THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM
A delivered package deterrent system includes a tracking and security device applied to and thus carried oy a package, and a mobile app residing in a package recipient mobile device to communicate with the tracking and security device to track the package and control deactivation of the tracking and security device upon delivery of the package into the custody of an authorized person.
Apparatus for Monitoring the Content of a Container and Method Therefor
Methods and apparatus for monitoring the content of a chamber of a container via electrical capacitive tomography (ECT) or acoustic imaging are presented. The three-dimensional volume of the chamber and its content are imaged by developing a map of permittivity or acoustic impedance by (1) applying a stimulus signal between each of a plurality of electrode pairs of a plurality of electrodes that is arranged about the chamber and (2), for each stimulus signal applied, measuring a response signal at each of the remaining electrodes of the plurality. Once the map of permittivity or acoustic impedance is established, the number and type of tablets (or liquid) within the chamber is determined.
Automatically activating a transaction card by detecting a change associated with a package that carries the transaction card
A first device may be implemented within a package that is for transporting a second device requiring activation. The first device may determine whether the package has been opened based on whether a trigger condition has been satisfied. The trigger condition may be satisfied when a value identifying an amount of an electrical property of a conductive structure sealing the package satisfies a first threshold value or when a value identifying an amount of a measurable property associated with the package satisfies a second threshold value. The first device may provide, to a server, a request to activate the second device based on determining that the package has been opened. The request may cause the server to initiate an activation procedure and to activate the second device if the activation procedure succeeds.
REUSABLE ZIPPER-RECONFIGURABLE SHIPPING BOX
A reusable shipping box with a shipping container state and a compacted state is disclosed. The reusable shipping box may comprise a lid that seals the shipping box, a base, and a set of four sidewalls. The shipping box may also comprise a zipper that: (i) zips down from the lid to the base between two adjacent sidewalls in the set of four sidewalls; (ii) is closed in the shipping container state; and (iii) is open in the compacted state. The shipping box may also comprise a cavity that is: (i) surrounded by the set of four sidewalls, the lid, and the base in the shipping container state; (ii) accessible via the lid when the shipping box is open; and (iii) collapsed in the compacted state.
EARRING SECURITY DISPLAY HANGER CONFIGURED TO SECURE DANGLE EARRINGS AND STUD EARRINGS
An earring security display hanger includes a body member, first and second arms, and first and second closure members connected to the body member via the first and second arms. Each of the first and second closure members has a top wall and a side wall extending between the top wall and an open end such that a recess is formed therebetween. A closure member aperture is defined on the top wall of each of the closure members, and a plurality of first closure apertures and a plurality of second closure apertures are defined on the sidewall of the first and second closure members, respectively. A plurality of first closure hooks and a plurality of second closure hooks are formed from the body member and are configured to engage with the plurality of first closure apertures and the plurality of second closure apertures, respectively, to provide a locking mechanism.
System and method of monitoring retail units
The present disclosure provides a retail unit comprising: a display module capable of accommodating one or more retail items; a door module configured to pivot away from the display module; and an imaging module coupled to the door module and configured to allow imaging of the display module.
IC TAG LABEL
An IC tag label includes: an IC chip; a communication antenna element having a first end and a second end, the first end being electrically connected to the IC chip, the communication antenna element including a planar coil extending on a first surface and having a shape suitable for positioning on a bottle mouth; and a bridge wiring including a wiring element which is located in an opposed region on a second surface which is opposed to the first surface, the bridge wiring electrically connecting the second end to the IC chip. The communication antenna element has an air core section which includes a center of the planar coil, and the wiring element is a single wire including a plurality of bent sections and having a folded line shape which traverses the air core section a plurality of times in plan view perpendicular to the first surface.
Tool hanger
A tool hanger is provided, including a main body, having a notch, two first pivot portions and at least one first connection portion; a base, detachably connected with the notch, the base having two second pivot portions, one of the first pivot portion and the second pivot portion including a pivot groove and the other including a pivot portion which is pivotally connected with the pivot groove, a direction about which the pivot portion rotates being defined as an axial direction, the pivot portion having a first outer diameter which is transverse to the axial direction and a second outer diameter which is transverse to the axial direction, the first outer diameter being sized greater than an opening span of the pivot groove, the second outer diameter being sized less than or equal to the opening span of the pivot groove.
TRAILER ROLL DOOR AND LOCKING SYSTEM
A door and locking system for a rear opening of a long bed trailer, the rear opening having a top edge, a bottom edge and first and second side edges, the door and locking system has a canvas door configured for mounting adjacent to the rear opening of the long bed trailer. The canvas door can move between a closed position in which the canvas door moves to close the rear opening and an open position in which the canvas door moves to open the rear opening. A locking system secured to the edges of the rear opening can move between a locked position, in which the locking system is in locking engagement with the canvas door in the closed position to secure the canvas door against the edges of the rear opening to close the opening for retaining fluidizable product in the long bed trailer and an unlocked position, in which the locking system is free from locking engagement with the canvas door to allow the canvas door to move into the open position.
