PALLET CONTAINER
The present invention relates to a pallet container (10) for storing and for transporting in particular hazardous liquid or free-flowing filling materials, having a thin-walled rigid inner container (12) from a thermoplastic plastics material, having a tubular lattice frame (14) of horizontal and vertical tubular bars (18, 20) which are welded to one another, said tubular lattice frame (14) as a supporting jacket tightly enclosing the plastics-material inner container (12), and having a base pallet (16) on which the plastics-material inner container (12) bears and to which the tubular lattice frame (14) is fixedly connected, wherein the base pallet (16) is configured as a composite embodiment or as a frame pallet having corner feet (22) and central feet (24) from plastics material, steel, or timber, wherein for stacking pallet containers (10) of identical types on top of one another a clearance (32) in the corner feet (22) and the central feet (24) is provided on the base along the external edges of all four sidewalls of the base pallet (16), said clearance (32) being configured such that when stacking two pallet containers (10) on top of one another, the uppermost encircling horizontal tubular bar (18) of the tubular lattice frame (14) of a pallet container (10) stacked therebelow engages or nests in a mutually adapted and form-fitting manner in the clearance (32), wherein for a secure transportation of two filled pallet containers (10) stacked on top of one another by means of a forklift truck, a deeper clearance (32) is formed such that it is deeper, i.e. up to twice as deep (or high) in the vertical direction than in the horizontal or radial direction.
Flame retardant shipping container
The present invention relates to a flame retardant shipping container for lithium ion batteries, and more particularly for containing a thermal runaway event. The shipping container comprising an outer box, preferably made of flame-retardant corrugated fiberboard, containing a vacuum plenum/thermal shield assembly and a tray and a first flame-retardant pouch. The assembly comprising an inner container on a thermal shield inside a metalized vacuum bag. The inner container further comprises an inner cavity and an opening and a second flame-retardant pouch. The assembly rests on the tray. The pouches contain molecular sieves and palladium plated microsphere catalysts. The thermal shield has an aluminum foil surface and is filled with thermal paste. The tray is preferably flame-retardant molded paper pulp and forms at least two pockets separated by flame-retardant molded pulp separators. The tray is separated from the outer box by an air gap containing the first flame-retardant pouch.
Disposable container for solvent contaminated wipes
A disposable container for solvent contaminated wipes and a method of using the disposable container to prevent solvent contaminated wipes from spontaneously combusting is disclosed. The disposable container may be a flexible bag made of a material having a solvent-resistant, non-permeable layer and optionally other layers. The disposable container has an oxygen-reduction system including an air-tight seal, which may be formed in a variety of ways, and an oxygen-removal mechanism, such as a small pump that is integral to the flexible bag or a pump outlet that can be connected to an external pump.
SECURE BEVERAGE CONTAINER WITH LOCKING FEATURE AND RELATED METHODS
A secure beverage container may include a body having a first end, a second end opposing the first end, a first longitudinal side extending between the first end and the second end, and a second longitudinal side opposing the first longitudinal side and extending between the first end and the second end, the first end being closed, the second end being open. The body may define a cavity to receive a beverage fluid. The secure beverage container may include a lid to be received by the second end to seal the cavity in the body, and a powered locking device. The secure beverage container may include an access control device coupled to the powered locking device and configured to cause the powered locking device to switch between the locked state and the unlocked state based upon a security token.
MAILING PACK WITH CLEAR WINDOWS AND FILE FOLDER EMBODIMENTS
In some embodiments, an enveloping mailing container with four edges includes a top edge, an opaque front side, an opaque back side sealed together to form three edges, and a sealable opening at the fourth edge. The enveloping mailing container may define an interior space between the front and back sides and a mailing address section on the front side and spaced away from the edges. The enveloping mailing container further may include least one transparent section defined on the front and/or back side, an extended lip seal, and a perforation tear line that extends downwardly away from the top edge for at least a portion of the perforation tear line. The enveloping mailing container may be formed of 100% recycled material adapted to receive laser energy configured to provide a pre-designed pattern on the enveloping mailing container.

Moving product using self-stabilizing platform assembly
Methods are presented which include moving a self-stabilizing platform assembly with product disposed on a deck of the self-stabilizing platform assembly. The self-stabilizing platform assembly includes multiple torque-generating devices, a stability control system to control operation of the multiple torque-generating devices, and the deck to support the product being moved. The methods also include adjusting, by the stability control system, operation of one or more torque-generating devices of the multiple torque-generating devices to produce during the moving a stabilization torque within the self-stabilizing platform assembly to facilitate stabilizing the self-stabilizing platform assembly and product during moving of the self-stabilizing platform assembly and product.
BEVERAGE JUG COVER WITH ENHANCED SPIGOT PROTECTION AND ACCESS
A cover for a beverage jug having a spigot. The cover includes a side panel that curves back upon itself so that two vertical side edges of the side panel can be joined together by a seam. A top panel is joined to the top edge of the side panel by a seam that extends around the top panel. A zipper extends from the bottom edge and into the side panel to form at least one flap when opened that provides access to the spigot of the beverage jug. The beverage jug and cooler cover effectively covers and protects beverage jugs and beverage coolers, and provides additional insulation to help extend the time that the beverage remains cold, protects the plastic of the jug or cooler from exposure to ultraviolet rays, while also protecting the spigot of the beverage jug or cooler from attracting and collecting insects, dust, and/or dirt.
Container with feature to block fork tine openings
A tote style container with a first handle and second handle that can be picked up by a fork tine is provided. The container includes features for blocking the tine of lower containers when in a stack of like containers.
Container assembly with vent
A container assembly including a pouch, spout and closure is provided. When the pouch and spout are attached, one or more cavities are formed between the inner surfaces of the sidewall of the pouch and the external surface of a mounting portion of the spout. One or both of the spout and pouch include a vent which provides for fluid communication between the cavity and the ambient environment on the outside of the pouch. The vents are configured to allow for pressure equalization of the cavity relative to the outside of the pouch during sterilization of the container assembly.
