Composite Packaging Foil
A composite packaging foil for a childproof and/or senior friendly packaging, including a first layer having a first outer surface and a first inner surface, wherein the first layer imparts tear-inhibiting properties to the packaging foil, a second layer having a second outer surface and a second inner surface, wherein the second outer surface of the second layer is sealable against a mating surface, an inner layer arranged between the first inner surface of the first layer and the second inner surface of the second layer. The packaging foil has at least one weakening zone in which the tear-inhibiting properties of the packaging foil are reduced by a plurality of perforations that are present in the first layer. The density of perforations in the weakening zone lies between 50 and 250, preferably between 50 and 150 and particularly preferred between 70 and 130 perforations per cm.sup.2.
APPARATUS FOR DISPENSING PILLS
A system and method for dispensing a pill. A pill bottle may be coupled with a pill dispensing bottle cap. The pill dispensing bottle cap may comprise a closure system for the pill dispensing bottle cap to the pill bottle. The pill dispensing bottle cap may comprise an interior funnel, an interior pathway, an exterior pathway, an exterior opening, a delivery system, an activation system, and a sensor. The interior funnel may navigate one or more pills towards the interior pathway. The activation system may determine if activation of the delivery system is appropriate. The delivery system may cause a pill to move from the interior pathway to the exterior pathway. The pill may move from the exterior pathway through the exterior opening and exit the pill bottle. The sensor may detect the pill exiting the pill bottle and cause pill information associated with the pill bottle to be updated.
Child Resistant Bottle Closure System
The present application provides a child-resistant liquid dispensing closure apparatus, which includes a plunger and pipet, and preferably a dosage measuring system that is integrated that appears as the plunger is withdrawn from the pipet. The closure may be used for a bottle containing a liquid for oral administration of solutions, syrups, suspensions, elixirs, tinctures, concentrates, and the like.
CHILDPROOF CONTAINER AND PROCESS OF MAKING THE SAME
The present invention relates to a childproof container (1) comprising a store (2) and a closure system (7) and defining a compartment (8). The container comprises a safety device (11) with a first coupling portion (12) and a second coupling portion (13) configured to engage each other stably in an internal volume of the container (1) in a closing condition of the closure system (7) to define a locking condition wherein they prevent the closure system (7) from switching from the closing to the opening condition. The closure system (7) comprises an unlocking portion (18) configured to define a through access (19) that allows, in the locking condition of the safety device (11), the insertion of an opening device (20) into the internal volume of the container (1) that allows the disengagement between the first and second coupling portions (12, 13). The container comprises a guide body (24) carried by at least one between the second coupling portion (13) and the closure system (7). The guide body (24), in the closing condition of the closure system (7), is placed in the internal volume of the container (1) and is configured to guide the opening device (20) towards the safety device (11).
PEDIATRIC DOSING DISPENSER
A package that is configured to store and dispense fluids. The package includes a container and a dosing dispenser for closing an opening to the container. The dosing dispenser includes a closure removably coupled to the container and an anti-suction valve fixed to the container that is configured to minimize formation of a complete seal between a user's mouth and an upper surface of the anti-suction valve so that sufficient suction to remove fluid from the container is blocked.
Smart Closure with Keypad or Biometrics
This disclosure relates generally to a smart closure for any container that has lock/unlock features, and can be accessed using keypad or biometrics, also including RFID, Bluetooth, or wireless control and communication. This can also include monitoring solutions, with data logging. For example, time of access, temperature, weight, or other environmental conditions. The closure and container assembly present a positive lock mechanism designed to provide an affirmative indication that full closure has been attained.
Child resistant blister package
A child and bite resistant package having a tray and a plurality of spaced apart cavities that are formed therein is provided. A sheet material overlies the tray such that a product disposed in a cavity is enclosed and sealed therein. The sheet material includes a plurality of zones of weakening that are each disposed above a corresponding cavity. Each of the zones of weakening is formed by a plurality of microperforations that are formed in the sheet material. To access a product, the product is pushed against the lidding in the zone of weakness with sufficient force to rupture the lidding. Since the majority of the surface area above each compartment is non-rupturable, the compartments are difficult to access by a child by either hand manipulation or biting.
Child resistant zipper bag
The present application provides a child resistant zipper bag. The zipper of the protective zipper bag is designed with a special structure and can only be opened in a special way, so that children can be effectively prevented from opening the bag casually, thereby playing a role of protecting children. Moreover, the first connection bar is assembled with the second connection bar through the second meshing teeth being meshed with the first meshing teeth. Therefore, the movement between a first zipper belt and a second zipper belt is limited, and the opening of the bag body due to sliding between the first zipper belt and the second zipper belt is avoided.
Child-Resistant Containers Having Spinning Collar Cap Assemblies And Methods For The Manufacture Thereof
Child-resistant containers or packages having spinning collar cap assemblies are provided, as are methods for manufacturing such containers. In various embodiments, the child-resistant container includes a container body having an inner cavity, an opening to the inner cavity, and a container neck circumscribing the opening. A spinning collar is retained around the container neck and is rotatable relative thereto in at least a first rotational direction. The child-resistant container further includes an overcap, which is sized and shaped to enclose the opening when attached to the spinning collar. Through the provision of a suitable threaded interface the overcap can be (i) detached from the spinning collar by rotation of the overcap relative to the spinning collar in the first rotational direction and (ii) removably attached to the spinning collar by rotation of the overcap relative to the spinning collar in a second rotational direction opposite the first rotational direction.
Medicine container, method of assembling the container, and method of dispensing the medicine from the container
A child-resistant medication container assembly and method of dispensing the medication from the container assembly. The medication container assembly includes a blister pack with a plurality of compartments, each of which supports a medication. The container also includes a puck and a box. The blister pack compartments are aligned with openings on the puck, and the box is configured to receive and secure the puck and the blister pack such that each of the plurality of compartments is aligned with a complementary opening in the box.
