A container including a reservoir to store a dispensable material and an elongated neck that extends from the reservoir and that terminates at a distal end. The container also includes a frangible region intermediate the reservoir and the distal end of the elongated neck. The frangible region is fracturable in response to a predetermined force applied to the distal end to create opening in the elongated neck through which the material can be dispensed from the reservoir. The container further includes a guard disposed adjacent the elongated neck to inhibit inadvertent fracture of the frangible region absent the predetermined force.

A fluid dispensing container is provided. The container includes a container body formed from a first flexible material defining an interior cavity. The container includes a membrane formed from a second flexible material and a seal coupling the membrane to the inner surface of the container body. The membrane divides the interior cavity into a contents chamber and a dispensing chamber, and the membrane and the seal are configured to be fluid tight to maintain fluid within the contents chamber prior to rupture of the membrane. The rupture stress of the second flexible material is less than the rupture stress of the first flexible material such that, as fluid pressure within the contents chamber increases, the membrane is configured to rupture without the container body rupturing.

The present disclosure relates to a filter for a smoking device, such as, but not limited to, a water pipe. The filter includes a body that is positionable over a mouthpiece of the smoking device, to filter impurities from smoke drawn therethrough, and a base that secures the body over the mouthpiece such that smoke is drawn therethrough, prior to inhalation by a user. The body can include one of more filtration layers, such as a first layer formed from a material selected to filter carcinogens and other impurities from the smoke prior to inhalation, and a second layer formed from a material selected to minimize or prevent the transmission of bacteria, viruses, or other contagions from a user's mouth to the smoking device. Each of the filtration layers can also be formed from one or more materials.

Childproof highly-inert packaging for individually dosed films containing an active ingredient

A childproof packaging for individual doses, in particular for preparations for administration in film form, wherein the packaging constitutes a bag produced by sealing, which has a covering layer which is provided at each side of the packaging with local weak points which do not touch the edge of the packaging, wherein the local weak points form a cohesive pattern which runs around the individual dose in an arc or a curve and overlaps an angular region of at least 90 when considered from the main area of the individual zone. The local weak points have a start area and an end area which have a Y configuration when the local weak points on each side of the packaging are superposed.

Blister Cards Promoting Intuitive Dosing

A blister card with a back side and a front side opposite the back side. The front side has a plurality of blisters and each blister contains a unit dose and each unit dose contains an active. Each blister card contains from about 12 hours to about 24 hours of unit doses according to the dosage instructions. The actives can be the same or different.
