The present invention concerns a system (1; 101; 201; 301; 401; 501; 601; 701; 801; 901; 1001; 1101; 1201) for dispensing a fluid (L; L1, L2), comprising a container (C; C′) for the fluid (L; L1, L2) and a device (10; 410; 510) for dispensing the fluid (L; L1, L2). The device (10; 410; 510) comprises a collapsible chamber (20; 420) which defines a volume (V; V′) suited to receive a quantity of the fluid (L; L1, L2) to be dispensed. The chamber (20; 420) is defined by a first portion (30; 430) and by a second portion (40) mutually coupled with each other, wherein the first portion (30; 430) comprises an area connected to the container (C; C′) and the second portion (40) is constituted by a portion of the container (C; C′).
Production method for producing a sealed break-open package and corresponding sealed break-open package
A production method for producing a sealed break-open package comprising the steps of: making, through an outer surface of a sheet and by means of a first tool, an outer incision, which at least partially extends into the area of the pocket; and making, through an inner surface of the sheet opposite the outer surface and by means of a second tool, an inner incision, which is parallel to and aligned with the outer incision. The inner incision is made only after the outer incision has been completed and by making the second tool perform a working stroke, which brings a tip of the second tool inside the outer incision.
UNIT DOSE CAPSULE
The present invention provides a method of producing a unit dose capsule for treatment of a substrate comprising the steps of a. placing a first sheet of water-soluble polyvinyl alcohol film over a mould having sets of cavities, each set comprising three cavities arranged on the sealing plane one after the other in circumferential direction such that footprint area of the second and the third compartments is from 0.8 to 2.5 times the area of the footprint of the first compartment; b. heating and applying vacuum to the film to mould the film into the cavities and hold it in place to form three recesses in the film; a first recess, the second recess, and a third recess, the three recesses being connected to respective side recesses by the film; c. filling three different parts of a substrate treatment composition into the three recesses, the three parts together forming a full substrate treatment composition; d. sealing a second sheet of film to the first sheet of film across the formed recesses to form the sealing web comprising a peripheral sealing skirt and inter-compartment sealing webs; and e. cutting between the capsules so that a series of three compartment capsules are formed, each capsule containing a part of a substrate treatment composition in three compartments.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING A FLUID PRODUCT MAILER
A method and system provide a folded mailer system which can house / enclose a container which houses a liquid. The folded mailer system meets the requirements /standards as set forth by the USPS for first-class machinable mail. While the folded mailer system meets the USPS requirements / standards for first-class machinable mail, the folded mailer system may also meet the requirements / standards for machinable mail in other jurisdictions outside of the United States. The mailer system may include a container capable of holding a liquid and a structure for holding the container when the container is shipped. The structure may have at least two sections which are folded on to each other when the container is shipped. The container and structure may be machinable within an automated mailing system that is run by the USPS.
Container, particularly for medical products, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, food or the like
The container (1), particularly for medical products, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, food or the like, comprises: an hollow body (2) at least partly compressible defining a chamber (3) for containing a fluid product (4) and provided with a neck (5); a closure element (6) made in a single body piece with the hollow body (2) and provided with an attachment portion (7) which, in a packaging configuration, is associated with the hollow body (2) along a predefined breaking line (8) adapted to allow the separation of the closure element (6) from the hollow body (2) in a configuration of separation in which on the hollow body (2) is formed a dispensing opening (9) of the fluid product (4); a dispensing valve (13) adapted to allow the outflow of the fluid product (4) through the dispensing opening (9); and a return valve (14) adapted to allow the one-way flow of air (15) towards the chamber (3), wherein the return valve (14) comprises filtering means (16) adapted to filter the air (15) entering the chamber (3).
COMPOSITE MATERIAL HAVING A COMPONENT OBTAINED FROM THE SILVER SKIN OF THE COFFEE CHERRY AND PORTION CAPSULE COMPRISING SAID COMPOSITE MATERIAL
A beverage, particularly coffee, is prepared using a portion capsule. The portion capsule has a base element for receiving an extraction product. Further, a method for producing the portion capsule, a composite material able to be produced particularly efficiently in the setting of producing coffee portion capsules, and a method for producing the composite material. The composite material includes a component produced from silver skins of coffee cherries. The portion capsule includes the composite material.
Pair of capsules assembled together and respectively comprising two different phases to be mixed
Disclosed is a pair of capsules assembled together and respectively including two different phases to be mixed in order to obtain a personalized cosmetic product, including: two pouches respectively containing the two different phases and respectively included in the two capsules and interconnected by a communication channel including at least one portion of narrow cross-section relative to the two pouches, this portion of narrow cross-section of the communication channel including two right-angle bends.
Corner-break-open sealed package
A break-open sealed package is disclosed; the sealed package includes: a first sheet of semi-rigid plastic material; a sealed pocket, which contains a dose of a product and is delimited on one side by the first sheet; and a pre-weakened area, which guides, following a folding of the first sheet, a controlled break of the first sheet in the pre-weakened area to form an outlet opening for the product through the first sheet. The pre-weakened area is arranged at one end of the first sheet and extends from a first outer edge of the first sheet to a second outer edge of the first sheet to divide the first sheet into a holding portion and into a folding portion that is smaller than the holding portion.
PACKAGING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRECISELY PREPARING FRESH FOOD ITEMS SUCH AS TAHINI
