The present invention relates to safety lock and release handles for use in foldable containers. The handles are rotatable to unlock container panels from each other for folding. The handles comprise safety lock assemblies to prevent inadvertent rotation and unlocking of the container panels. The present invention also relates to foldable storage container devices that incorporate the safety lock and release handles.

This can also include monitoring solutions, with data logging. For example, time of access, temperature, weight, or other environmental conditions.
