Container Security System
A container security system includes a container chassis and a closure subsystem coupled to the container chassis. The closure subsystem includes a closure chassis that prevents movement of a material between a container volume and an exterior of the container chassis via an aperture defined by the container chassis. The closure subsystem includes a closure security sensor that generates a closure sensor signal when the closure chassis experiences a tamper event. A first type communication interface is housed in the closure chassis and a security engine provided by the closure subsystem receives a sensor signal indicating that the closure chassis has experienced the tamper event. The security engine then provides, in response to receiving the sensor signal and using the first type communication interface, a notification to a corresponding first type communication interface that the closure chassis has experienced the tamper event.
System and method for determining package tampering
A tape dispensing system includes packaging tape an application apparatus, and an incision element. The application apparatus is configured to apply the packaging tape to a package. The incision element defines a unique pattern, and is connected to the application apparatus. Movement of the apparatus is effective to punch or incise the unique pattern defined by the incision element completely through the packaging tape and into the package as or after the packaging tape is applied to the package.
A BOTTOM DISPENSING PACKAGE
The invention refers to a bottom dispensing package for a flowable composition, comprising a squeezable container for housing the flowable composition, a base element that is fixed to the container, whereby the base element comprises an orifice, whereby the orifice is placed in the direction of gravity beneath the container when the dispensing package is placed in its head-stand position on the base element, whereby the base element further comprises a closure connected to the base element and the closure can be moved back and forth between a closed position in which the closure closes the orifice and an open position in which the composition can be released through the orifice.
Automatically activating a transaction card by detecting a change associated with a package that carries the transaction card
A first device may be implemented within a package that is for transporting a second device requiring activation. The first device may determine whether the package has been opened based on whether a trigger condition has been satisfied. The trigger condition may be satisfied when a value identifying an amount of an electrical property of a conductive structure sealing the package satisfies a first threshold value or when a value identifying an amount of a measurable property associated with the package satisfies a second threshold value. The first device may provide, to a server, a request to activate the second device based on determining that the package has been opened. The request may cause the server to initiate an activation procedure and to activate the second device if the activation procedure succeeds.
Digital fingerprint generation using sensor embedded packaging elements
A method for detecting package tampering, comprising performing scanning of a container comprising a packaged item and a plurality of packaging elements surrounding the packaged item, wherein each of the plurality of packaging elements comprises a sensing component comprising a stress sensor, determining a stress on each of the plurality of packaging elements surrounding the packaged item from the scanning, and generating an output indicating the stress on each of the plurality of packaging elements surrounding the packaged item.
SECURITY PACKAGING
A security packaging provides a structure for providing evidence of package tampering. The packaging includes a first panel having an opening, and a foil label at least partially overlaying the opening and at least partially adhered to an insert member. Upon separation of the insert member from the packaging, at least a portion of the foil label is separated from the foil label thereby leaving a visual void in the opening indicating that the separation has occurred.
Tamper evidence bridges
An apparatus and a method are provided for a container cap comprising a plurality of tamper evidence bridges configured to provide evidence that the container cap has been removed from a container by other than a manufacturer of the container. The tamper evidence bridges comprise a small tab of material that extends from a bottom-most edge of the container cap to a neck ring of the container. The tamper evidence bridges are configured to break, or snap, when the container cap is rotated relative to the neck ring. Broken tamper evidence bridges provide readily visible evidence to an end-user of the container that the container cap has been removed by other than the manufacturer of the container. The high visibility of the tamper evidence bridges serves to discourage vendors from attempting to refill and resale of the used containers.
Packaging System with Tamper Evidence/Child Resistant Latch
A system of a tamper evidence/child resistant latch device and an enclosure is disclosed. The latching device and the enclosure will remain separate to each other as items that can be attached to each other to become as one item only when the enclosure such as a bag and/or a blister pack is packaged with a commodity. The system requires hand-resistance to break a seal to gain access to the commodity. The seal aligns with a matching internal hook so designed that must be hand-broken to gain access to the commodity. A commodity having a value and not considered as dangerous to a child, can provide new security levels. The system requires the dexterity of two hands, as a capacity belonging to an adult, but would be difficult for a child.
Tamper-evident container
A tamper-evident container comprising a storage having at least one passage opening delimited by a free edge and configured to put in communication the internal volume of the storage with the external environment; the sheet material of the storage wraps at least partially on itself in order to form an overlapping zone which comprises at least one first constraining portion and one second constraining portion engaged with each other: on the second constraining portion at least one notch is defined. The container further comprises a closure system engaged at said free edge and movable with respect to the storage; the closure system being configured for defining at least one closing condition in which the system itself interdicts the communication between the internal volume of the storage and the external environment and an opening condition in which the system itself enables the communication between the internal volume and external environment.
