Systems for transporting and collecting waste
A system for transporting and collecting waste is disclosed. The system comprises a waste disposal bay comprising a front side, a bottom side, and a back side, wherein the back side includes an opening. The system further comprises a movable receptacle positioned above the waste disposal bay configured to translocate from a first position to a second position and back again, and wherein the movable receptacle comprises a through hole. The system further comprises a vacuum system associated with the through hole of the movable receptacle, comprising a motor for generating suction and a removable container for collecting waste; an attachment mechanism between the opening of the back side and the through hole, wherein the attachment mechanism is configured to maintain fluid communication between the opening and the vacuum system when the movable receptacle is in the first position; and a switch configured to activate the motor.
Method and apparatus for feeding material into a rotary shaper device
Method for feeding material into a rotary shaper device in a pneumatic pipe transport system for material, in which the material is conducted along a feeder channel to the rotary shaper device, in which case the material to be handled is conducted into the shaper device and/or through it by the aid of at least partly the suction and/or a pressure difference of the pneumatic pipe transport system. In the method the material is acted upon in the feeder channel, or in the channel leading into it, with at least one guide member, which is configured to reduce the undesirable rotation of the material in the feeder channel and/or to improve the access of replacement air into the rotary shaper. The invention also relates to an apparatus.
CONTAINER COMPACTION
In a method of compacting waste (W), wherein waste is introduced into a generally box shaped elongated waste container (3) through at least one waste inlet (5) thereof and is collected in the waste container (3) at a waste collection station (4), the container is positioned with a generally rectangular bottom wall (3 A) thereof on an inclined surface (7) of the waste collection station, thereby tilting the container and its bottom wall, and releasably securing the container in the tilted position. A waste collection facility (13) of the waste collection station (4) is also provided.
Devices and methods for collecting and hauling materials
The present application discloses devices for collecting and hauling materials, and methods of using the devices. The devices generally include a post and a sheet. The post includes a number of attachment points and the sheet includes a number of connectors. The connectors are selectively attachable to the attachment points on the post to position the sheet between an open orientation for loading the materials onto the sheet, and a closed orientation for transporting the device with the materials.
Method and apparatus in a pneumatic material conveying system, and a waste conveying system
Method in a pneumatic material conveying system, such as in a waste conveying system, which conveying system comprises at least one input point (61) of material, more particularly of waste material, a material conveying pipe (100), which can be connected to an input point (61), and a separating device, in which the material to be conveyed is separated from the conveying air, and also means for achieving a pressure difference in the conveying pipe (100) at least during the conveyance of material. In the method material is conveyed from an input point (61) to an accumulator tank (105) of a subsystem (1), where the material is separated from the conveying air and in a second phase the accumulator tank (105) of the subsystem is emptied.
Material handling system
A material collection unit for a material handling system is disclosed. The material collection unit includes an elongated housing section, a separator, and an accumulation bin. The separator is disposed within the housing section and partially bisects the elongated housing section into first and second sections. The first section is in communication with an inlet for materials to pass through. The second section is in communication with an exhaust. The accumulation bin is disposed below the elongated housing and has an open top section that is in communication with the elongated housing section and a second opening that is configured to mate with an opening of a baler unit.
Method for conveying material and material conveying arrangement
An arrangement for a pneumatic material conveying system comprising a first material conveying system. The arrangement comprises a second material conveying arrangement comprising at least one second input point (200) for feeding a second material (M), a second separator device (10), a second conveying pipe (102) between the at least one second:point (200) and the second separator device (10), which second separator device (10) is operatively connectable into medium communication with a conveying pipe (100) of the first material conveying system along the pipe, in order to connect a suction or a pressure difference acting in the first pipeline (100) to act via the second separator device (10) in the second conveying pipe (201) to convey the second material (M) from the second input point (200) in the second conveying pipe (201) to the second separator device (10) configured to separate the second material (M) from transporting air flow, and to collect the material (M) into a collection container (11) of the second separator device (10).
