AGRICULTURAL APPARATUS AND METHOD
A vertical pole (2) holds plant growing containers (3, 50, 54), at multiple heights. Some containers may be mounted at a given height (H1-H9) in a circular array around the pole. Each container may occupy a V-shaped region about the pole in a top view. The pole may be moveable by a conveyor system (4, 5). The pole may have a fluid reservoir (30), and a fluid distribution system (31-35) extending from the fluid reservoir to plant growing containers at different vertical locations on the pole. Each plant growing container may integrate a soil containment portion (51), a bottom drain portion (61) that collects fluid draining through the soil, and a bypass drain portion (64, 70, 72, 75, 79), that interconnects with higher and lower like containers on the pole and bypasses the soil in the containers for rinsing the soils individually.
Touch panel for manually operating machinery
A touch panel of a portable operation panel for manually operating machinery normally operated automatically, in particular, various types of material handling equipment operated in an emergency, machinery has an operation screen for making the machinery perform a specific operation. A swipe operation button image can be moved on to the operation screen by a swipe operation and a continuation operation button image is displayed in a place from which the swipe operation button image is moved. By performing a tap operation on the continuation operation button image, the machinery is made to perform the specific operation.
BUFFER STORAGE SYSTEM FOR OVERHEAD CONVEYOR SYSTEMS
A buffer storage device (100) for an overhead conveyor system (10) having individually conveyable transport units (40), with a closed conveying path that includes a buffer section (117) along which transport units are conveyable downstream, a feed section (104) for feeding transport units to a feed point (102) of the buffer section, a discharge section (105) for discharging transport units from a discharge point (103) of the buffer section, and one or more additional bypass sections (113) which in each case connect a starting point along the buffer section to a destination point along the buffer section.
Carriage for a rail-guided conveying system and conveying system comprising such a carriage
A carriage for a rail-guided conveying system, in particular a gravity conveyor, in which a plurality of similar carriages are mounted one behind the other in the rail-longitudinal direction and displaceable in the rail-longitudinal direction, on a running rail extending in the rail-longitudinal direction. A first and a second set of upright rollers are arranged one behind the other for guiding the running rail in the rail-longitudinal direction and which in each case are rotatably mounted on a carriage body transversely to the rail-longitudinal direction about an associated axis and are spaced apart from one another along the associated axis.
Carrying device for receiving goods
A carrying device for receiving goods, which comprises a carrying wall, having a front wall and a rear wall, and a closing device, having at least one closing structure for releasably connecting the front wall to the rear wall in a closed state. The carrying wall is here arrangeable between the closed state and an open state, wherein in the closed state, it delimits a carrying volume for receiving the goods at least partially to the front, bottom and rear, and wherein in the open state, it opens up the carrying volume in the downward direction. The at least one closing structure is arrangeable, in the open state, at a spacing from the carrying wall.
Trolley conveyor roller assembly
The present invention relates to a roller assembly for a trolley conveyor that moves along a rail track including a flange and a web. The roller assembly for a trolley conveyor includes a pair of brackets that is placed respectively on both sides of the rail track, that has the shape of cranks corresponding to each other and that includes a mounting hole for installing a below-described shaft, a roller that is rotatably coupled to the upper end of the bracket so as to be mounted on the web and slide, and a shaft that penetrates the roller, that is coupled to the roller and that is inserted into and fixed to the mounting hole. The roller assembly with the configuration may have a simple structure, may be easily assembled and disassembled and may ensure durability.
CONVEYOR SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONVEYING GOODS
A conveyor system for conveying goods having a lying conveyor for conveying the goods horizontally, where the lying conveyor includes a sorting device with multiple delivery points, and having an overhead conveyor, by way of which the goods are conveyed in a suspended manner on a goods carrier, where the overhead conveyor is connected to at least one of the delivery points for delivering the goods.
AGRICULTURAL APPARATUS AND METHOD
A conveyor system (4, 5) moves vertical poles (2) in an agricultural facility between a growing area (20) and a workstation (W). Each pole carries plant growing containers (3) at multiple levels (H1-H9). An irrigation reservoir (30) may be mounted atop each pole. Irrigation lines (31-33) from the reservoir may be individually metered (35) at each level to compensate for differing water pressure with height. Sensors (40) in the reservoir and at each level of the poles may provide a controller (36) with data input. The controller may impose different growing conditions in different areas of the facility, including vertically different grow areas (20A, 20B), and controls pole movements and locations selectively to provide a sequence of poles at the workstation ready to harvest on a demand schedule. The workstation may have multiple heights (W1, W2, W3) for tall poles that increase plant density per facility footprint.
Barrel rolling safety device
A barrel rolling safety device and a method relating to using the barrel safety rolling device are disclosed herein. The barrel safety rolling device includes a base plate having a plurality of apertures, a stopping arm having at least a first end, a second end, and a stopping arm aperture, and a pin having at least a removal ring. Each of the apertures may be configured to receive the pin, and one or more bushings allow the stopping arm to rotate between various positions based on which aperture of the apertures receives the pin. In various embodiments, the stopping arm may allow a barrel to traverse a dunnage in a first direction, but prevent the barrel from traversing the dunnage in a second direction. In various embodiments, the stopping arm may prevent the barrel from traversing the rack in both the first direction and second direction.
Appliance for charging transport pockets
A transport pocket for the suspended transport of a transport item along a conveying direction via a suspended conveying device includes a pocket rear wall and a pouch wall that, together with the pocket rear wall, form a receiving compartment for the transport item. The receiving compartment forms a receiving opening for the transport item and is designed to assume an open position and a space-saving compact position. A fastener connects the transport pocket to a conveying member of the suspended conveying device. A cam element, which can interact with an activation device of the suspended conveying device, which is designed as a cam guide, and via which cam guide the receiving compartment can be moved into the open position or be held in this. The at least one cam element is arranged on the pouch wall of the transport pocket.
