Class-A fire-protected wood products inhibiting ignition and spread of fire along class-A fire-protected wood surfaces and development of smoke from such fire
In a lumber factory, an automated laminated veneer lumber (LVL) process supported by a lumber production line employing a cross-cutting and rip-sawing stage, a dip-coating stage, a spray-coating stage, a print-marking stage, and a stacking, packaging and wrapping stage. At the dip-coating stage, cross-cut and rip-sawed LVL product is automatically transported and submerged through a dipping reservoir containing clean fire inhibiting chemical (CFIC) liquid, and then wet-stacked and set aside to dry. Once dried, the dip-coated LVL products are returned to the production line and sprayed coated with a moisture, fire and UV protective coating at the spray-coating stage, and then passed through a drying tunnel for quick drying of the spray-coating to produce Class-A fire-protected LVL products. The Class-A fire-protected LVL products are stacked, packaged and wrapped at the stacking, packaging and wrapping stage into a package of Class-A fire-protected LVL products, ready for shipping.
Coupling block on a conveyor system
A coupling block is provided to dynamically adjust a difference in height between a first support structure and a second support structure attached to a conveyor frame. The coupling block includes at least one rotating cam attached to the coupling block. The rotating cam is actuated to move at least a portion of the coupling block about an axis to compensate for a height difference between the first support structure and the second support structure. A cam adjuster is also accessible from an outer face of the of the conveyor frame to change a direction of rotation of the at least one rotating cam.
MACHINE AND METHOD TO WORK METAL PRODUCTS
Machine to work oblong metal products, including a drawing apparatus to feed at least one of said metal products in a direction of feed and a work apparatus aligned in said direction of feed. The drawing apparatus includes a first drawing unit and a second drawing unit opposite each other with respect to said direction of feed. The first drawing unit and the second drawing unit define between them, in said direction of feed, a drawing channel for the at least one metal product. The drawing channel has a lying plane, defined by a plurality of anchoring inserts, for the at least one metal product, a supply apparatus being possibly present upstream of said drawing apparatus.
Conveying of plastic bottles
A conveying system, comprising a modular conveyor belt supported on a conveyor track so that top surfaces of the modules of the conveyor belt present a conveying face that in use moves along the track in a conveying direction, and at least one plastic bottle supported at its bottom on the conveying face via one or more textured surfaces at a bottom of the bottle. The disclosure also includes a method of conveying bottles, wherein plastic bottles are supported with their bottoms on a moving conveying face of a conveyor, and wherein the conveying face and the bottom of the bottle are conveyed via one or more textured surfaces at a bottom of the bottle. The disclosure further includes use of at least one textured bottom surface of a plastic bottle for conveying, and a blow mold for blow molding a plastic bottle.
GROUPING STATION FOR LOADING PALLETS
A grouping station includes a first transfer means for moving loading pallets to the grouping station and second transfer means for forwarding the loading pallets from the grouping station. The first transfer means and the second transfer means are both arranged for two different handling directions of the loading pallet.
Linear-motor conveyor system
A tray conveyor in which plastic trays with rows of embedded translators are driven by stators. Washing stations in cleaning zones are provided to automatically clean empty trays in the conveyor's return path.
Conveyor
A conveyor and process for transporting products, wherein a carrier with an associated product holder can be moved along a conveying path by means of a conveyor element. In a processing position, the carrier can be aligned by means of first alignment elements, and second alignment elements are provided for aligning the product holder for disengagement from the carrier.
Systems and methods for cleaning a tray in a grow pod
Embodiments disclosed herein generally relate to systems and methods for emptying and/or cleaning a tray within an assembly line grow pod. In one embodiment, a sanitizer component for cleaning a tray coupled to a cart in an assembly line grow pod is disclosed. The sanitizer component is coupled to a track such that the cart and the tray are received in the sanitizer component via the track. The sanitizer component comprises a first actuator arm positioned underneath the track and extendable through an opening in the track and an aperture at a bottom end of the cart to contact the tray such that the tray rotates in a first direction. The sanitizer component further includes an actuator motor coupled to the first actuator arm for extending the first actuator arm and a controller. The controller is communicatively connected to the actuator motor in the sanitizer component.
Conveyor system for the conveying of goods items
Conveyor system for the conveying of goods items, with at least one transport container for accommodating a goods item and a controlled, drivable and movable, driverless transport unit for accommodating and conveying a transport container; where the transport unit comprises a discharge device for unloading a goods item, situated on the accommodated transport container, from the transport container and a retaining mechanism for establishing a detachable connection between the transport container and the transport unit, by means of which the transport container is to be held on the transport unit.
Chain for grain elevators
A paddle bracket with superior durability and a grain elevator chain including such a paddle bracket are disclosed. The paddle brackets are used to connect paddles for moving the grain to the chain. Each paddle bracket has a brace portion for giving additional support to the intermediate portion of the bracket between the portion of the paddle bracket that connects to the other links in the chain and that portion of the paddle bracket that attaches to the paddle. An austempering process for forming a bainitic microstructure in the paddle bracket to further enhance the strength of the paddle bracket is also disclosed.
