HONEY PROCESSING APPARATUS
A honey processing apparatus that is configured to provide processing of a wax/honey emulsion so as to separate the honey from the wax and provide separate collection thereof. The present invention includes a vessel having a first chamber and a second chamber. The first chamber includes an interior volume having a heating fluid disposed therein. The second chamber is also disposed within the interior volume of the first chamber and wherein the heating fluid is surroundably present thereto. A coil is present within the second chamber and the coil is fluidly coupled with the heating fluid. A pump is operably coupled to the coil and is configured to provide closed-loop recirculation of the heating fluid within the coil so as to provide heating of the wax/honey emulsion in order to facilitate the separation thereof. A honey extraction tube coupled with the second chamber provides extraction of the honey.
Sanitizing Process for Exposing a Food Container to Multiple Sanitizing Agents Along a Circuitous Path
A method for sanitizing pre-measured units of a pre-sanitized flowable food product in a sanitizing device installed into an existing food production system without substantially increasing the head height requirement of the feed production system. A plurality of containers are moved about a path with increased retention time through a plurality of stations: a receiving station, one or more sanitizing stations, and a dispensing station, and a container cleaning station. A pre-measured unit measured for packaging is received at the receiving station into a container. The pre-measured unit is exposed to one or more sanitizing agents at one or more sanitizing stations. The pre-measured unit is immediately packaged after sanitization. The pre-measured unit is dispensed into a packaging device at the dispensing station. The containers are then cleaned at the container cleaning station to prepare each container to receive a subsequent pre-measured unit of the pre-sanitized flowable feed product.
CONTAINER AND LOAD BASKET FOR THERMAL MANAGEMENT FOR PROCESSING IN HIGH PRESSURE APPLICATION
A container or load basket (80, 90) constructed for addressing thermal stratification of a product in the container/load basket and addressing thermal stratification of the processing medium during high pressure processing with a pressurized processing medium. The container includes an upper section (86, 96) forming a volume for receiving the product to be processed and a truncated lower section forming the bottom of the container. The bottom of the container is defined by a floor or partition (84, 92) extending across the lower portion of the container.The floor or partition can be constructed from the same material from which the upper section of the container is formed or a material that is more adiabatically active than the material from which the upper section of the container is formed.
STERILIZER
A sterilizer according to the present invention comprises: a temperature-raising module for heating a carriage introduced thereinto; a sterilization module for sterilizing the carriage transferred from the temperature-raising module; a cooling module for cooling the carriage transferred from the sterilization module; and an opening-closing module connected to the temperature-raising module, the sterilization module, or the cooling module, to selectively open or close at least one module, and the sterilizer independently heat-treats a space separated by the opening-closing module.
APPARATUS FOR AND METHOD OF STEAM TREATING CANNABIS
An apparatus for steam treating cannabis is provided, the apparatus comprising: a steam manifold (1) that is adapted to receive steam from a steam source and to distribute steam to a plurality of lances, the lances being configured to deliver steam into the interior volume of a batch of cannabis (10); a temperature sensor for sensing a temperature of the batch of cannabis, and a controller. The controller is configured to receive a signal from the temperature sensor (27), and to control the supply of steam to the lances to raise the temperature of the cannabis to a target temperature. A method of steaming cannabis is also provided.

Problem: To provide a microwave aging device that can shorten the time required for ageing food and can improve a yield rate. Solution: There is provided a microwave aging device including: a microwave aging unit 30, having an aging chamber configured to store food, an irradiation port through which microwave irradiation is performed into the aging chamber, and a blower fan configured to blow air into the aging chamber; a cooling unit 10 having a cooling chamber that is cooled by a cooler; a microwave oscillating unit 20 connected to the irradiation port; and a controller 40, where the aging chamber is arranged in the cooling chamber. There is also provided a microwave aging method using the device.
Closed processing system and method for treating elongated food products
The present invention relates to a closed processing system for treating elongated food products, comprising: a housing bounding a process space, a transport path for displacing the elongated food products through the process space, at least one airflow generator for generating an airflow in the process space, and at least one detector for detecting process conditions in the process space, wherein the detector includes at least one pressure sensor for detecting the relative airflow pressure in the process space compared to the ambient air pressure and wherein the system is arranged to control the process conditions by adjusting the at least one airflow generator based on the detected process conditions. The present invention further relates to a method for treating elongated food products.
