A peristaltic transport device comprising a tube member having an inner space to receive material, the member includes a series of repeating sections wherein each of the sections includes a plurality of bladders to selectively occlude portions of the inner space according to a defined peristaltic sequence to transport the material through the inner space. An actuator assembly is coupled to the tube member to control the selective occlusion of the inner space by selectively expanding and contracting ones of the plurality of bladders according to the defined peristaltic sequence. The actuator assembly simultaneously controls corresponding ones of the plurality of bladders across the series of repeating sections.

The article transport device includes a transport vehicle configured to move back and forth between a receiving location and a delivery location, and a load receiving base that is provided at at least the receiving location. The transport vehicle includes a transport placing base on which an article is to be placed, and a lift device configured to raise and lower the transport placing base to a first height and to a second height that is lower than the first height. The load receiving base is a base on which an article is to be placed, and is fixed at a third height that is between the first height and the second height. When the transport vehicle performs restoration movement to move from the delivery location to the receiving location, the lift device performs a restoration operation that differs in accordance with whether or not an article is present on the load receiving base at the receiving location.

TRANSFER CART

Provided is a transfer cart that that has a simple structure, facilitates operation in front and back spaces of a moving direction, and does not take up a redundant transfer space in a locations where operation is not performed. The transfer cart includes a running frame, a main carrier capable of carrying thereon an object to be transferred, and moving-direction operation decks disposed at front and back of the moving direction on the main carrier and running frame. The moving-direction operation decks are configured to change angle with the main carrier in accordance with the radius of curvature of a track, and configured to have a variable height mechanism to be able to change height thereof in the up and down direction.
