Testing environment for autonomous vehicles
A trolley assembly for overhead track testing is provided. In one example embodiment, a trolley assembly includes an idle roller that rotates about a first axis, a first top roller coupled to a first end of the idle roller via a first trolley upright support, and a second top roller coupled to a second end of the idle roller via a second trolley upright support. The trolley assembly includes a cantilever coupled to the idle roller. The trolley assembly includes a driveshaft coupled to a first end of the cantilever. The trolley assembly includes at least one motor coupled to the drive shaft.
High speed robotic weighing system
This disclosure pertains to weighing a physical item while it is moving in a servo-driven conveyor system for e-commerce, logistics, manufacturing and other applications. The introduction of an unknown mass to an electro-mechanical feedback or filter network controlling a conveyance system will modify the steady state behavior of that system in such a way that measuring the phase or frequency shift of an input signal or oscillation will enable us to infer the magnitude of that mass.

Conveying apparatus with minimalist frame
An apparatus includes a movable conveyor belt adapted for conveying articles supported by a conveying surface in a conveying direction, the conveyor belt including guide links. Guides in the form of at least two stationary rods elongated in the conveying direction engage the guide links of the conveyor belt during conveyance. The guides may form part of a conveyor frame including connectors spaced in the conveying direction connecting to at least one upper guide and at least one lower guide without projecting between them. An elongated support may be provided for supporting the connectors, and may include at least portion curved in the conveying direction and a vertical direction.
Production system, production apparatus and method for controlling production system
A production apparatus includes a workbench, a movement apparatus, a conveyance apparatus, a motion detector, and a control unit. The movement apparatus configured to move the workpiece on the workbench to a predetermined delivery position. The conveyance apparatus configured to convey the workpiece moved to the predetermined delivery position to an adjacent production apparatus. The motion detector configured to detect conveyance motion of the conveyance apparatus of the adjacent production apparatus. The control unit configured to operate the movement apparatus to move the workpiece on the workbench to the predetermined delivery position. If conveyance motion of the conveyance apparatus of the adjacent production apparatus is detected by the motion detector, the control unit operates the conveyance apparatus to convey the workpiece to a delivery position of the adjacent production apparatus.
COVERED ROLLER, AND COVERED ROLLER LIFESPAN DETECTION METHOD
To achieve reduction in cost and improvement in productivity, to provide a covered roller at which the covering is adequately secured, and to provide a lifespan detection means therefor, a rotating body covered with a covering has a region at which an insertion member is inserted inside the rotating body such that the covering intervenes therebetween, a length of the covering is made to be greater than a width in a width (axial) direction of the rotating body that is covered with the covering, the covering being made to protrude beyond the rotating body, heat-shrinking in the radial direction of the covering due to application of heat, or contraction of the covering where the rotating body is covered with a covering that has stretchability in at least the radial direction and that has been made to be longer than the width of the rotating body that is covered with the covering so as to protrude beyond the rotating body, causing an inside circumferential length of an end portion of the covering in the region which has been made to protrude from the rotating body to be less than or equal to an inside circumferential length of an inside diameter of the rotating body, the protruding portion of the covering being folded back inside the rotating body, the insertion member being inserted inside the rotating body under at least press-fit conditions such that the covering intervenes therebetween, the covering being held to the rotating body surface, the roller which is employed being such that at least the rotating body, the covering, and the insertion member are made integral.
Conveyor pulley, process for producing a roller tube and deforming tool
According to the present invention, a conveyor pulley for use in a belt conveyor is provided, comprising: a roller tube (1); wherein the roller tube (1) is formed by plastically deforming a central portion of a substantially cylindrical metal tube (2) radially outwardly so as to form a crowned portion (4) having an enlarged outer diameter (OD.sub.ENL) with respect to remaining portions (6) of the metal tube (2).
METHOD FOR FORMING THERMAL SPRAY COATING FILM OF INTERMETALLIC COMPOUND, THERMAL SPRAY COATING FILM, METHOD FOR PRODUCING METAL PRODUCT HAVING SPRAY COATING FILM AND GLASS-CONVEYING ROLL
To provide a method for forming a thermal spray coating film, by forming a thermal spray coating film of an AlFe based intermetallic compound having a high hardness, on a metal substrate.
A method for forming a thermal spray coating film, by forming a thermal spray coating film of an AlFe based intermetallic compound, from a mixture of an AlFe based intermetallic compound powder composed mainly of FeAl.sub.2 and a metal powder composed mainly of Fe, as feedstock, on the surface of a metal substrate.
Transport device for transporting containers
A transport device for transporting containers with a plurality of pucks, each designed for receiving a container and for standing transport of the container, the transport device having an intermediate starwheel and a container lifting device to adjust the vertical position of the containers, and the transport device permitting the containers to be transported by the pucks to an inlet of a treatment machine and away from an outlet of the treatment machine. The container lifting device of the transport device is integrally formed with or attached to the intermediate starwheel and is formed and arranged in operation such that it lifts the containers, for removing the containers from the pucks, before they pass through a treatment section of the treatment machine and lowers the containers, for inserting the containers into the pucks, after they have passed through the treatment section.
