Process and device for replacing idler rollers of a belt conveyor
A method and a device are provided for replacing individual idler rollers for conveyors, with which a web belt can be lifted and worn-out or damaged idler rollers in upper and lower runs can be individually replaced. The device includes, separately for replacing the idler rollers in the upper run and in the lower run, a subframe (1) for lifting the web belt (7) and for holding the web belt (7), such that a sufficient clearance is formed for replacing worn-out idler rollers (53) by means of a changing frame (2). A service vehicle is equipped with a lifting apparatus for moving dividing devices. The process steps include lifting the web belt (7), removing the old idler roller (53.sup.old), inserting the new idler roller (53.sup.new) and lowering the web belt (7). The drawing shows the use of two dividing devices in the replacing of idler rollers in the upper run.
Conveying apparatus with minimalist frame
An apparatus includes a movable conveyor belt adapted for conveying articles supported by a conveying surface in a conveying direction, the conveyor belt including guide links. Guides in the form of at least two stationary rods elongated in the conveying direction engage the guide links of the conveyor belt during conveyance. The guides may form part of a conveyor frame including connectors spaced in the conveying direction connecting to at least one upper guide and at least one lower guide without projecting between them. An elongated support may be provided for supporting the connectors, and may include at least portion curved in the conveying direction and a vertical direction.
Insect egg conveyor
Example insect egg conveyors are disclosed. One example insect egg conveyor device includes multiple rollers positioned along a path and a drive unit that includes a motor connected to a roller of the multiple rollers to drive the roller and rotate the roller. The device also includes a substrate positioned on the roller and a fluid source positioned along the path. The rollers are arranged to move the substrate along the path and toward the fluid source in response to the motor rotating the roller.

Contact guard for a belt drive
A contact guard for a belt drive, in which a filling space formed between two pulleys and the belt is filled by a filling body, which includes two sub-bodies that can be moved relative to one another.
HIGH SPEED ROBOTIC WEIGHING SYSTEM
This disclosure pertains to weighing a physical item while it is moving in a servo-driven conveyor system for e-commerce, logistics, manufacturing and other applications. The introduction of an unknown mass to an electro-mechanical feedback or filter network controlling a conveyance system will modify the steady state behavior of that system in such a way that measuring the phase or frequency shift of an input signal or oscillation will enable us to infer the magnitude of that mass.

Rake Device on Friction-Driven Sweep Conveyor
We disclose an apparatus for maintaining a flow of grain moving toward a rotating sweep conveyor. A rake extends longitudinally along the sweep. The rake is disposed along the leading sidewall of the sweep such that the rake is in the path of movement of the sweep as the sweep rotates within the bin. The rake has a plurality of projections that protrude from a shaft. A reciprocating drive assembly is connected to the driven roller and to the shaft. The reciprocating drive assembly causes the shaft to move forward and backward along the longitudinal axis of the sweep. The reciprocating shaft movement causes the projections to engage grain piles in the path of the sweep, causing the pile to collapse into a flowable particulate to be received by the sweep.
