System and method for managing migration of road barriers
A road barrier transfer machine includes an improved capstan control system that reduces unwanted migration of road barrier spans without requiring inaccurate visual observations and reliance on outdated scripts. The barrier transfer machine includes a moveable chassis, an entry snout, an exit snout, a conveyor system, a capstan system, and the capstan control system. The capstan control system automatically operates the capstan system or provides instructions to an operator of the machine to maintain the tension and compression of a road barrier span within desired ranges to reduce unwanted migration of the span.
Horizontal Rotary Folding Arm Conveyor
The invention employs a folding arm conveyor that rotates horizontally. The folding arm conveyor is mainly composed of an undercarriage mounted on the ground of a stockyard, a tower body mounted on the undercarriage, a balance arm, a conveying arm, a tower top, and other main components, wherein the balance arm, the conveying arm, and the tower top are mounted on the tower body. The conveying arm is provided with two portal frames (I) and (II) and an unloading trolley. The tower body is provided with a gyration apparatus and a hopper. The balance arm is provided with a balance trolley. The folding arm conveyor can rotate horizontally, and the conveying arm can be folded and retraced by controlling the wind rope by the windlass, so that the folding arm conveyor can be prevented from colliding with other devices or buildings during the rotation.
STOCKPILE MODIFICATION SYSTEMS, METHODS AND APPARATUS
Systems, methods and apparatus are provided for modifying a stockpile.
LIFT GATE APPARATUS
A lift gate apparatus includes a movable conveyor device and a bracket. The movable conveyor device is configured to transition between a conveying position and a non-conveying position. The bracket configured to bridge a gap between the movable conveyor device and a fixed conveyor device, wherein the bracket pivots and slides over the fixed conveyor device when the movable conveyor device is transitioned from the conveying position to the non-conveying position.
CONVEYOR WITH TOWABLE ELEVATING CARRIAGE
A towable conveyor for transporting and elevating articles and a method and system for towing a conveyor and conveying articles up inclines is provided. The conveyor system has an elevating carriage and a plurality of support elements for conveying articles up the conveyor. Specifically, the towable conveyor system comprises a conveyor having a support frame, a plurality of support elements, a drive end with a motor, and an idle end; an elevating carriage having a first end interconnected to the support frame of the conveyor, a second with two or more wheels, and a support member extending upwardly from the elevating carriage; a cable system for raising the conveyor into a position of use and for lowering the conveyor into a towing position; one or more locking mechanisms; and a hitch for connecting the conveyor to a rear end of a towing vehicle.
System and Method For Uninterrupted Flow Stacking With Mobil Conveyors
A material handling methodology for forming cells of material includes a series of mobile telescoping conveyors feeding a mobile bridge conveyor and mobile radial stacker using a set of mobile bridge transfer conveyors. The method involves transferring material from an infeed point to a cell area in a systematic manner that allows for stacking each cell continuously with no interruption to material flow.
SERVO-DRIVEN VIBRATORY CONVEYOR
Vibratory conveyors, vibratory conveyor systems, and related methods are disclosed. An exemplary vibratory conveyor includes a support frame; a pan configured to receive a conveyed material, the pan mounted for cyclic movement relative to the support frame, the pan having a pan axis generally aligned with a conveying direction; and at least two linear servomotors operatively coupled to move the pan relative to the support frame, the at least two linear servomotors comprising a first linear servomotor and a second linear servomotor. The first linear servomotor defines a first linear servomotor actuating axis, the second linear servomotor defines a second linear servomotor actuating axis, and the first linear servomotor actuating axis is oriented obliquely relative to the second linear servomotor actuating axis.
Deployable bulk material distribution apparatus
A deployable bulk material distribution apparatus for discharging from a designated height an amount of a flowable bulk material into a discharge location is provided. In one embodiment, the apparatus comprises an auger section; a bucket elevator section configured so as to be movable between: an upright position; and a reclined position wherein the bucket elevator section is substantially reclined for transport; and a joint assembly coupling the exit aperture of the auger section to the boot inlet of the bucket elevator section so as to allow the flowable bulk material to move from the exit aperture to the boot inlet when the bucket elevator section is in the upright position, the joint assembly being rotatably coupled to the boot inlet. The auger section and container operable to freely move along the bucket elevator section when it is moved between the upright and reclined positions.
CONVEYOR SYSTEMS INCLUDING AWARENESS FLAG MECHANISMS
A conveyor system includes at least one conveyor table and an awareness flag mechanism. The awareness flag mechanism includes a support rod mounted to the at least one conveyor table and extending outwardly therefrom in a cross-conveying direction. A counterweight assembly includes a support shaft pivotally connected to the support rod. The support shaft has a resiliently flexible portion. Aa counterweight is located at a lower end of the support shaft. Aa flag is located at an opposite, upper end of the support shaft. The counterweight biases the counterweight assembly toward an upright, awareness configuration where the flag is located above a conveying surface of the at least one conveyor table.
CROP UNLOADER DRIVE WITH TENSIONER
A crop unloader system comprising: an elevator assembly, a boom assembly, a flexible drive, and a tensioning assembly. The elevator assembly has a frame, an elevator drive and drive motor, and an elevator drive output. The boom assembly has a frame connected to the elevator frame at a boom pivot axis to rotate through a range of motion, and an unloader drive input. The flexible drive is operatively connected between the elevator drive output and the unloader drive input. The tensioning assembly has a tensioner link and a control link that are pivotally to each other and with one of the two links each pivotally connected to one of the boom and elevator frame. An idler wheel is on the tensioner link. The tensioning assembly maintains a tension load on the endless flexible drive within a predetermined range, throughout the range of motion of the boom frame.
