This invention quickly supplies a predetermined amount of powder from a hopper to a recoater. A powder supply apparatus includes, as its feature, a hopper, a powder spreader, a powder replenisher, and a pivoting unit. The hopper of the powder supply apparatus stores a powder. The powder spreader spreads the powder on a shaping surface. The powder replenisher of the powder supply apparatus is provided between the hopper and the powder spreader, and replenishes the powder spreader with a predetermined amount of powder. The pivoting unit of the powder supply apparatus causes the powder replenisher to pivot.

Baggage Inspection Device

A conveyor transports baggage toward an inspection unit. The inspection unit inspects the baggage transported by the conveyor on the transport path. A displaceable member is located on the entrance of the inspection unit. When the baggage comes into contact with the displaceable member, the displaceable member is displaced. A sensor detects the displacement of the displaceable member. Therefore, before the baggage reaches the inspection unit, it is judged whether the size and shape of the baggage can be inspected by the inspection unit.

Baggage Inspection Device

A conveyor transports baggage toward an inspection unit. The inspection unit inspects the baggage transported by the conveyor on the transport path. A displaceable member is located on the entrance of the inspection unit. When the baggage comes into contact with the displaceable member, the displaceable member is displaced. A sensor detects the displacement of the displaceable member. Therefore, before the baggage reaches the inspection unit, it is judged whether the size and shape of the baggage can be inspected by the inspection unit.

A control system for a cold planer having a conveyor configured to transfer material into a first receptacle is disclosed. The control system may include a first sensor configured to generate a first signal indicative of an amount of material being transferred into the first receptacle, a communication device configured to transfer information between the cold planer and the first receptacle, and a controller electronically connected to the first sensor and the communication device. The controller may be configured to receive an input from the first receptacle via the communication device and determine a fill level of the first receptacle based on the first signal and the input from the first receptacle.
