System for conveying and stowing elongated material
A rack corresponding a vehicle having matching connectors: a plurality of modular shelves having two longitudinal sides, the modular shelves are configured to be mounted one on top of the other, wherein each modular shelf of the plurality of modular shelves comprising: a frame having a plurality of struts configured for mounting a modular shelf one on top of the other, and wherein at least a portion of the struts have bottom with fittings that comply with the matching connectors a guardrail on each longitudinal side of the frame wherein at least one of the guardrails is capable of moving between an upright position and a horizontal position. a drawer capable of moving on top of the frame through at least one of the longitudinal sides of the modular shelf.
STACK ASSIST SYSTEM
A stack assist system includes a stacking surface, such as a pallet, configured to receive a plurality of packages thereon. A graphical display is configured to display a visual representation of an optimized stack of packages on the staking surface. A package position indicator may indicate the location of a package to be placed on package stack. The system may receive package data from a warehouse management system and determine an optimized stack based on numerous considered and weighted parameters related to the packages. The stack assist system may further optionally include a mobile unit to travel through a warehouse, over an optimized path, to retrieve packages intended for a stack.
Method for picking mixed products on a target pallet
Method for controlling picking of mixed products on a target pallet comprising the steps: —Generation of a packing pattern by means of a packing pattern generator in dependence on the picking commission, —providing the products on infeed conveyors, —taking the products from the infeed conveyors by means of a grab head or the like in a predetermined sequence according to the packing pattern, —placing the respective products in several product towers on a loading plate, wherein the towers are built approximately parallel to each other and are spaced from each other, wherein the area occupied by the towers on the loading plate is larger than the loading surface of a target pallet, —pushing the towers together to the dimensions of the target pallet, —transferring the pushed together product towers to the target pallet and —discharging the picking pallet thus created.

Workpiece placement platform device having workpiece positioning member movable in and out relative to upper surface of placement platform
A workpiece placement platform device including: an X-axis direction positioning member provided on one side of a placement platform on which to place a plate-shaped workpiece and configured to position one side edge of the workpiece in an X-axis direction by contacting the one side edge; a Y-axis direction positioning member provided on another side of the placement platform and configured to position another side edge of the workpiece in a Y-axis direction by contacting the another side edge; and a workpiece positioning member that is movable in and out relative to a workpiece placement surface of the placement platform and configured to partition the workpiece placement surface into sections in the X-axis direction and enable simultaneous positioning at the sections on the workpiece placement surface.
Consignment store and method for accepting, temporarily storing and issuing consignments
Described is a consignment store for the separate acceptance, storing, and issuing of consignments. The consignment store has a handover device for the separate acceptance and handover of the consignments to separate carrier elements, a detecting device for detecting heights of the consignments, and a rack system with holding elements arranged one above the other in a vertical direction and which define holding levels. The holding and carrier elements are of corresponding design such that, on two adjacent holding levels, two carrier elements carrying one consignment can be held one above the other in a vertical direction, and such that, on a holding level, a carrier element can be held with a consignment taller than the spacing to the next holding level. A control device allocates carrier elements in a vertical direction one above the other to different holding elements/storage positions dependent on the detected height of the consignments.
Robotic multi-item type palletizing and depalletizing
Techniques are disclosed to use a robotic arm to palletize or depalletize diverse items. In various embodiments, data associated with a plurality of items to be stacked on or in a destination location is received. A plan to stack the items on or in the destination location is generated based at least in part on the received data. The plan is implemented at least in part by controlling a robotic arm of the robot to pick up the items and stack them on or in the receptacle according to the plan, including by for each item: using one or more first order sensors to move the item to a first approximation of a destination position for that item at the destination location; and using one or more second order sensors to snug the item into a final position.
Low temperature pallet stacker
A pallet stacker has a pivot frame which is pivotable to receive pallets in a loading position, and then to be released to rotate into an unload position where the pallets are presented in a stacked horizontal arrangement for removal by a lift or crane. A damping assembly moderates the speed of the transition of the pivot frame from the load position to the unload position and has a very small metering orifice which slows the passage of argon gas from one side of a piston head to the other within a cylinder housing when the piston is being extended, and a check valve arrangement which allows ready flow of gas from one side of the piston head to the other when the piston is being returned to the cylinder. The metering orifice and check valve may be entirely interior to the cylinder housing, or may be exterior.
