Automated banking machine cassette and cassette module
Described herein are automated banking machine cassette modules and cassettes. The cassette module may include but is not limited to a divert cassette positioned for easy access and a light pipe system for detecting when sheets are entering or leaving a cassette. The cassette may include but Is not limited to a cassette with an ink staining that does not reduce the capacity of the cassette, a torsion spring assembly coupled with a push plate in a cassette, a thumper and feed wheel assembly, and a method of assembling a thumper and feed wheel assembly that provides for proper timing of the feed wheels with the thumper wheels.
Singulation of arbitrary mixed items
A robotic singulation system is disclosed. In various embodiments, sensor data image data associated with a plurality of items present in a workspace is received. The sensor data is used to determine and implement a plan to autonomously operate a robotic structure to pick one or more items from the workspace and place each item singly in a corresponding location in a singulation conveyance structure. The plan includes performing an active measure to change or adapt to a detected state or condition associated with one or more items in the workspace.
System, method and apparatus for destacking stacked articles
A destacker for automatically destacking a plurality of vertically stacked articles that is particularly useful in destacking magnetic molds used in the chocolate manufacturing industry. Each article comprises at least one slanted notch. The destacker includes at least one hammer having a blade that moves from a retracted position to an extracted position, wherein at the extracted position the blade engages a gap formed by the slanted notch between the bottommost article and the article located above the bottommost article to release the bottommost article from the plurality of stacked articles. The bottommost article then drops onto a conveyor to be transported to the production line. The destacker further includes oppositely disposed pair of mold carriers and oppositely disposed pair of mold lockers that assist the destacker to feed the stack of molds in a downward direction.

Separation of machinable parcels from non-machinable parcel stream
A parcel processing system and method. A method includes inducting a plurality of parcels in a non-machinable parcel stream by a non-machinable parcel processing system. The method includes recording physical characteristics of each of the parcels. The method includes comparing the recorded physical characteristics of each parcel to machinable requirements. The method includes identifying machinable parcels based on the comparison. The method includes sorting the identified machinable parcels to an automation discharge. The method includes transporting all non-machinable parcels to workstations, by the non-machinable parcel processing system, for manual processing.

Article dispenser and methods relating to same
A dispenser that may be loaded with a plurality of interconnected articles with at least one grasping section and that may then be selectively withdrawn one at a time out through an extraction site and indexed for subsequent withdrawal upon removal along with methods of manufacturing and assembling, the article itself, and additional features such as a separator for engaging the article to dispense the article in an open configuration, a restrainer for aiding separation of the articles, and an elevator or ramp for locating the grasping sections of the articles near the extraction site are disclosed herein.
Device for at least emptying a transport container
A device for at least emptying a transport container having a stack of plate-shaped items, including semiconductor wafers and/or packaging material, includes at least one measuring device and a holder at least part of which can travel into the transport container. The holder has a holding surface, a number of holding nozzles for at least holding an item in the stack, and, in the region of the holding surface, at least one recess for the measuring device for acquiring measurement data from the item in the stack. At least one separating nozzle is arranged on the holder outside the holding surface such that the nozzle(s) can move between rest and separating positions. In the separating position, a gas stream directed towards the end face of the stack is formed, to release at least one item in the stack that is adhered to the item held by the holder.
