AUTOMATED PROCESSING OF CONTAINER ASSEMBLY SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A container assembly processing system is disclosed that includes a container lifting assembly for lifting a container vertically from a carrier on a conveyor system.
STACKING DEVICE, AUTOMATION MODULE AND METHOD
A stacking device for handling loading aids for the automated feeding of a machine tool has a base, a stud frame that is held by the base and that supports a first vertical guide and a second vertical guide, and a first side and a second side. The first side has a vertically movable support segment for receiving a conveyor that carries two or more loading aids that are arranged one above the other. The support segment is moveable along the first vertical guide. The second side has a vertically movable lifting console for receiving at least one loading aid. The lifting console is configured to receive two or more loading aids arranged one above the other. The lifting console is moveable along the second vertical guide. The support segment and the lifting console are arranged facing away from each other at the stud frame. The support segment and the lifting console are coupled to each other in a forced coupling via a common coupling member and vertically movable in opposite directions via a common vertical drive. An automation module includes a stacking device and a handling unit. A method for feeding a machine tool uses such a stacking device.
AUTOMATIC BOX TRANSFERRING SYSTEM
A container transferring system autonomously transfers a container between a product processing machine and a container storage position. The system includes an automated guided vehicle (AGV) container transferring subsystem, and a machine side container conveying subsystem. The machine side conveying subsystem is arranged adjacent the product processing machine and receives empty containers from the AGV container transferring subsystem and transmits a full container to the AGV container transferring subsystem. The AGV container transferring subsystem docks with the machine side container conveying subsystem at a first docking position and moves autonomously between the first docking position and the container storage position to transport the empty container from the container storage position to the machine side container conveying subsystem, and transport the full container from the machine side container conveying subsystem to the container storage position.
Automated warehouse systems, assemblies, apparatuses, and methods for assembling mixed pallets and facilitating order picking
This disclosure is directed to automated warehouse facilities that are configured to assemble mixed pallets. The warehouse facilities can include one or more layer handling devices that are configured to remove layers from pallets in a delayering operational mode, and to add layers to pallets in a palletizing operation mode. The warehouse facilities also may include one or more item retrieval devices that are configured to retrieve individual items from storage racks. The warehouse facilities can include other automated devices as well.
Support apparatus for proppant storage containers
A support apparatus includes a frame assembly with an elevated load surface for supporting a modular proppant container in a position above a ground level. A chute assembly is supported by the frame assembly beneath the elevated load surface. A gate actuator has a coupling configured to engage with a gate assembly of the modular proppant container supported on the elevated load surface and a drive mechanism extending between the frame assembly and the coupling to selectively position the coupling for adjusting the gate assembly. The support apparatus may include a base frame section having a recessed region beneath the elevated load surface providing a feed station, an on-board subsystem attached to the frame assembly for operating the support apparatus in a stand-alone mode or an in-situ weigh station configured to measure the weight of the modular proppant container supported on an elevated surface in the rectangular container bay.
BAGGAGE AND PARCEL HANDLING SYSTEM AND METHOD
Described herein are systems and methods for baggage or parcel handling. The system includes an automated bag unloading cell, a container roller deck positioned in the automated unloading cell. The container roller deck includes a roller deck base and a deck frame. The deck frame can selectively support and transfer a container housing a bag or parcel. The deck frame can selectively rotate about a deck frame axis of rotation relative to the roller deck base. The deck frame is operable to selectively release the bag or parcel from the container. The container roller deck can also include an index table in communication with the deck frame. The index table can be operable to receive the bag or parcel released from the container. The index table can include at least one index table conveyor operable to selectively advance the bag or parcel from the index table to a first transfer device.
TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM OF A CASSETTE AND METHOD OF AUTO TEACHING A POSITION OF A CASSETTE
A transportation system of a cassette according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a port and a system controller. The port accommodates a cassette carrying a glass substrate. The port includes a plurality of displacement sensors for sensing a position of a cassette. The system controller calculates a distortion amount of the cassette using a plurality of sensed values of the cassette and a misplaced amount of the displacement sensors to determine whether the cassette is in a normal settlement status. Therefore, the position of the cassette can be automatically taught without clamping operation of a clamping device clamping the cassette disposed in the port, so that it is possible to prevent defects of the glass substrate by removing various defect-causing factors such as particles and static electricity that may occur during a conventional clamping operation.
METHOD AND PLANT FOR THE STORAGE OF SAUSAGES
A method and a plant for the storage of sausages, according to which two rows of sausages are simultaneously transferred from a loading station to a support cross member of a vertical store by means of a pick-and-place device provided with two support arms, which are parallel to one another, have an elongated shape, are provided with respective pluralities of holding members and are movable relative to one another between a closed position and an open position; the sum of the holding members of the two support arms being equal to the number of hooking members of the support cross member of the store. Main drawing:
METHOD AND FACILITY FOR PICKING AND PACKING INDIVIDUAL GOODS CONVEYED OVERHEAD
A method for order picking and packing individual goods conveyed overhead. The Method conveys the individual goods overhead in an overhead conveyor facility by means of overhead adapters, providing the individual goods of at least one order in a preparation buffer, conveying the individual goods of the at least one order onto a transport trolley which can be coupled to the preparation buffer in a trolley station, uncoupling the transport trolley from the trolley station, transporting the transport trolley with the individual goods of the at least one order to a packing place and packing the individual goods into orders at the packing place.
Production systems and production control methods for controlling a production system
A production system, the production system comprising the following: a loading zone for loading and/or unloading at least one collection carrier, a locating system for locating a collection carrier in the loading zone, the locating system being designed to determine the location of a mobile unit arranged on the collection carrier and/or to capture identification information stored on the mobile unit, an image-capturing unit, which is designed to capture image information of the loading zone, an image evaluation unit, which is designed to determine the position of the collection carrier and/or a state of the collection carrier by the image information. A production control method for controlling a production system. The production system and the production control method enable improved order processing. Preparatory and/or follow-up tasks can be automated in a simpler and easier manner.
