Systems and methods for transferring a flexible conductor onto a moving web

A roller features a circumferential trench into which a wire is deposited from a wire dispensing head having a wire dispensing tip. A moving web of material engages the roller as the roller rotates. The wire dispensing tip engages sidewalls of the trench so that the wire dispensing tip remains in the trench as the roller rotates. Wire from the trench is deposited onto the web of moving material and is secured thereto by fasteners or tape or adhesive or the like.

In order to enable adjustment of the inclination of a guide roller member with respect to a base body, this member is provided with a base body and a guide roller member that is secured to the base body and that determines the advancement direction for a prescribed tape. The guide roller member includes a base part and a rotating shaft that is secured to the base part. In relation to the base body, the base part comes into contact, simultaneously and on the same side as the rotating shaft, with: the leading ends of a plurality of screws that are passed through a plurality of screw holes penetrating the base body; and projecting parts that are connected to or have come into contact with the base part.

A pinch roller mechanism includes a rail, a slider, a roller bracket, a spring, and a pinch roller. The rail extends in a first direction crossing the conveyance direction of a medium while being apart from a medium driving roller configured to convey the medium. The slider is supported by the rail to be movable along the rail. The roller bracket is supported by the slider to be movable with respect to the medium driving roller. The spring is provided between the slider and the roller bracket and biases the roller bracket toward the medium driving roller. The pinch roller is rotatably supported by the roller bracket while setting the axial direction in the first direction.

Bill conveying roller base

The present invention addresses the problem of providing a bill conveying roller base having an excellent swelling resistance. In order to solve this problem, the bill conveying roller base is provided with an elastic layer covering at least part of the outer peripheral surface, the elastic layer comprising a thermosetting polyurethane which is obtained by reacting polyol components containing a lactone-based polyol with polyisocyanate components containing methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI).

ROTATABLY MOUNTED IDLER

In many continuously webbed machines, media is fed through the machine with rollers mounted to one or more rotating shafts. These shafts may be supported on each end with a cylindrical journal bearing. The rollers move at the same rate as the media to maintain traction with the media to control media position as it moves the media from one process to another through the sequence of processes in the webbed machine.
