Apparatus for Aligning Notes of Value
An apparatus for aligning at least one note of value along a transport path including at least one transport element, at least one first drive unit, first and second rotatably mounted deflecting elements, and a second drive unit. The transport element includes an endless drive belt. The first drive unit drives the transport element in a first direction of rotation which moves the note of value along the transport path in a transport direction. The transport element is deflected over the deflecting elements. The second drive unit displaces at least one of the first and second deflecting elements along its axis of rotation so that by displacing the one of the first and second deflecting elements the note of value contacting the at least one transport element is moved obliquely to the transport direction.
Sheet product dispenser with spring assembly
A dispenser for dispensing sheet product is provided. The dispenser includes a housing with an outlet through which sheet product is dispensed. A knife drum is rotatable with respect to the housing. A knife is movable between a retracted position within the knife drum and an extended position where the knife protrudes outside of the knife drum to cut the sheet product. A cam follower surface is fixed with respect to the housing. A cam follower is attached to the knife and operable to engage the cam follower surface and travel therealong to transition the knife between the retracted position and the extended position. A spring assembly biases the knife drum during rotation toward a predetermined position. The spring assembly comprises a first spring and a second spring. The spring assembly is attached at a single mount position that is fixed with respect to the housing.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTINUOUSLY MANUFACTURING ELECTRODE
An apparatus for manufacturing an electrode includes a plurality of guide rollers configured to transport an electrode plate. The apparatus detects a defect on the electrode plate being transported and cut, upon detecting the defect, the electrode plate at a starting part of the defect on the electrode plate to form a defective electrode plate. The apparatus also includes a first taping part connecting the defective electrode plate to a defective electrode roll. The apparatus cuts the electrode plate at an ending part of the defect on the electrode plate to form a normal electrode plate. The apparatus connects the normal electrode plate separated from the defective electrode plate in the second cutting part with a normal electrode roll. The apparatus winds and transports the normal electrode roll.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTINUOUSLY MANUFACTURING ELECTRODE
An apparatus for manufacturing an electrode includes a plurality of guide rollers configured to transport an electrode plate. DRYER APPLIANCE WITH A SHEET DISPENSER
A sheet dispenser for a dryer appliance includes a housing that defines a storage volume and an outlet. The storage volume is configured for receipt of a plurality of dryer sheets for dispensing. A roller is mounted to the housing within the storage volume. A motor is coupled to the roller such that the motor is operable to rotate the roller. The roller is configured to urge the plurality of dryer sheets in the storage volume through the outlet of the housing when the motor rotates the roller.
DRYER APPLIANCE WITH A SHEET DISPENSER
A sheet dispenser for a dryer appliance includes a housing that defines a storage volume and an outlet. The storage volume is configured for receipt of a plurality of dryer sheets for dispensing. A roller is mounted to the housing within the storage volume. A motor is coupled to the roller such that the motor is operable to rotate the roller. The roller is configured to urge the plurality of dryer sheets in the storage volume through the outlet of the housing when the motor rotates the roller.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR HANDLING A FLEXIBLE WEB
According to one aspect, a web handling system comprises a plurality of cross-grooved idler rollers, an imaging drum, a nip roller adjacent the imaging drum and forming a nip therewith, and a spreader roller disposed between the plurality of idler rollers and the nip roller. Each idler roller is disposed no more than a first distance from an adjacent idler roller, spreader roller, and nip roller and the spreader roller is disposed no more than a second distance from the nip. The first distance is in a range of 38 to 28 inches, 36 to 30 inches, or 35 to 33 inches and the second distance is in a range of 6 to 11 inches, 6.5 to 9 inches, or 7.0 to 8.5 inches.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR HANDLING A FLEXIBLE WEB
According to one aspect, a web handling system comprises a plurality of cross-grooved idler rollers, an imaging drum, a nip roller adjacent the imaging drum and forming a nip therewith, and a spreader roller disposed between the plurality of idler rollers and the nip roller. Each idler roller is disposed no more than a first distance from an adjacent idler roller, spreader roller, and nip roller and the spreader roller is disposed no more than a second distance from the nip. The first distance is in a range of 38 to 28 inches, 36 to 30 inches, or 35 to 33 inches and the second distance is in a range of 6 to 11 inches, 6.5 to 9 inches, or 7.0 to 8.5 inches.
TRANSPORT DEVICE AND RECORDING DEVICE
A transport device includes a skew correction unit configured to correct skew of a medium by colliding with the medium and a buffer unit provided with a contact portion configured to come into contact with the medium between a first transport unit transporting the medium to the skew correction unit and the skew correction unit in a transport direction. The buffer unit is configured such that a second transport velocity is lower than a first transport velocity, the first transport velocity being a transport velocity of the medium upstream of the buffer unit in the transport direction, the second transport velocity being a transport velocity of the medium when the medium collides with the skew correction unit after coming into contact with the contact portion. The buffer unit is configured such that the contact portion does not collide with the medium strongly enough to correct the skew of the medium.

A transport device includes a skew correction unit configured to correct skew of a medium by colliding with the medium and a buffer unit provided with a contact portion configured to come into contact with the medium between a first transport unit transporting the medium to the skew correction unit and the skew correction unit in a transport direction.
