ADHESIVE TAPE DISPENSER
An adhesive tape dispenser includes a main body provided with a flattening sheet at an upper side of a first end and the flattening sheet is connected with a blade. The main body is provided with a Velcro at an underside of the first end and pivotally mounted with a first roller corresponding with the Velcro. In the process of release of adhesive tape, the adhesive tape enables the first roller and the Velcro to rub each other and generates static electricity and thus, when the adhesive tape is not used, the adhesive tape will be absorbed to the first roller and impossible to roll up back to the adhesive tape roll.
CENTER FEED ROLL DISPENSING APPARATUS
A center feed roll dispensing apparatus including: a roll support that extends in a first direction from a first end to a second end; an end wall located in the first direction with respect to the first end of the roll support, the end wall comprising a dispensing aperture; and a roll stop located in the first direction with respect to the first end of the roll support and spaced from the end wall.
Tape Dispenser
A tape dispenser with a handle providing an optimized grip handle in a parallel axis with the tape spool axis. A burnisher and tape end guide serves as a guard that covers the sharp teeth of the device when in the closed position. As the burnisher and tape end guide is held in the closed position it provides a support surface. This position allows space between the resting surface and the roller which, in combination with the tape end catch and the contact surface of the main body ensures that the adhesive tape does not stick to the resting surface. The tape end catch works in combination with the burnisher and tape end guide, return spring, tape end guide, and formed-in axis, counter-bored hole to capture the loose end of the tape once the blade cuts through the width of the tape.

Adhesive tape dispenser having a deflecting device
An adhesive tape dispenser having a holder for an adhesive tape roll (2) and a guide system for an adhesive tape (3) pulled off from the adhesive tape roll (2) and a deflecting edge (10) for the pulled-off adhesive tape (3). Deflecting edge is arranged at the end of the guide system in the pull-off direction (A) and deflects the pulled-off adhesive tape (3) from the pull-off direction (A). The deflecting edge (10) has a deflection axis, which has a component directed in the pull-off direction (A), and an affixing direction (B) is arranged transversely to the pull-off direction (A).
Methods of processing a glass ribbon
Methods of processing a glass ribbon are provided. The method includes the step of traversing the glass ribbon through a travel path at a predetermined velocity and severing the glass ribbon to create an upstream web and a downstream web. The method further includes the step of increasing a relative velocity of a downstream edge portion with respect to an upstream edge portion to create a gap between an upstream severed edge and a downstream severed edge. In other example methods, a segment of the glass ribbon is removed to create a gap between an upstream severed edge and a downstream severed edge. In still further example methods, an upstream severed edge is directed along a second travel path to create a gap between the upstream severed edge and a downstream severed edge.
Label issuing device including anti-adhesive agent reservoir
The label issuing device, which reels out linerless paper having an adhesive face on one side and cuts the reeled-out linerless paper to issue individual labels, has a cutter part for cutting the reeled-out linerless paper and a detachable container that is detachable from an enclosure of the label issuing device. The detachable container has a reservoir part for reserving a lubricant, and an application part that extends from the reservoir part, receives the lubricant reserved in the reservoir part, and applies the lubricant to a blade body of the cutter part. The reservoir part is filled with an impregnation material that is impregnated with the lubricant to hold (reserve) the lubricant, wherein the impregnation material is coupled to an impregnation material of the application part.
CARTRIDGES, DISPENSERS, AND KITS FOR DISPENSING INSTRUMENT COVERS
A kit for dispensing disposable stethoscope covers and other instrument covers is provided. The kit may include a cartridge and a dispenser for automatic touch-free dispensing of disposable stethoscope covers. The kit further includes a first spool having a roll of backing member with disposable stethoscope covers disposed thereon and a second spool for receiving the spent backing member after a disposable stethoscope cover has been removed, self-contained within the cartridge. The cartridge is inserted within the dispenser so that a user may insert a stethoscope head through a window of the dispenser to attach to a disposable stethoscope cover. Alternatively, the cartridge or cassette may be comprised of disposable instrument covers so that a user may insert the instrument near or through the window of the dispenser for application of the instrument cover directly to the instrument. The kit may further include a proximity sensor for detecting a user.
Tear-assist blade
A material dispenser having a dispensing member configured to dispense a line of the material along a path in a downstream direction, and a cutting member having a cutting edge extending generally downstream with respect to the path. The cutting member having a convex shape across the path, such that the cutting edge engages and sequentially initiates cuts through the line of material when the line of material is pulled against the cutting member, thereby minimize cutting forces.
Optical fiber cutting device and optical fiber cutting method
A cutting device for cutting an optical fiber running in a first direction includes a supporting piece having a free end and a fixed end and having resilience, a cutting blade supported by the supporting piece that comes into contact with the optical fiber to make a right angle with the optical fiber at a point of the contact, and a driving device. The driving device is configured to press the supporting piece in a second direction in a plane perpendicular to the first direction, with the second direction not intersecting with the first direction.
