Method For Repairing Holes Or Gaps For Rolling Paper Products
A method for repairing holes or gaps that occur in the rolling paper process (e.g. cigars, cigarettes, etc.) by application of an elected amount of food grade adhesive to an elected measure of length of rolling papers. An elected length of baking paper (e.g. parchment paper) operates as a protective cover when lined up with the matching measurement of adhesive added rolling papers. The combined material is cut into strips of elected lengths to the spool of an elected tape dispenser and set aside. One of the strips is coiled around the spool of an elected tape dispenser and is housed in the dispenser. Once a hole or gap occurs in the rolling papers, a strip of elected length is cut using elected tape dispenser cutter. Remove the protective cover and expose the adhesive part of combined materials and place on top of hole or gap of rolling papers.

The paper making machine (1) is arranged to direct the at least one waste part (23a, 23b, 30) away from the predetermined path (P) and to convey the remaining part (24, 29) further in the machine direction (MD) along the predetermined path (P). The paper making machine (1) further comprises a blowing device (20, 21, 22) arranged to blow gas or air against the water jet cutting device (17, 18, 19) in a direction toward the remaining part of the fibrous web (24, 29) such that fiber particles that have been released by the cutting action of the water jet cutting device (17, 18, 19) are blown onto the surface (25) of the remaining part (24, 29) of the fibrous web (W) and follow the remaining part (24, 29) of the fibrous web along the predetermined path (P). The invention also relates to a method in which gas or air is blown in a direction toward the remaining part of the web such that fiber particles that have been released by the cutting action of the water jet cutting device (17, 18, 19) are blown onto the surface (25) of the remaining part (24, 29) of the fibrous web (W). The stream of air or gas is given a shape which is circular cylindrical or conical and expanding in the direction in which the stream moves.
Sheet processing apparatus and image forming system incorporating the sheet processing apparatus
A sheet processing apparatus includes a sheet conveyor configured to convey a sheet, a processing tool configured to perform processing to the sheet, a tool contact separation device, a tool moving device, and a tool facing device. The tool contact separation device is configured to contact and separate the processing tool to the sheet. The tool moving device is configured to move the processing tool in a direction intersecting a conveyance direction of the sheet. The tool facing device has an opposing face and is disposed at a position at which the tool facing portion faces the processing tool via the sheet. The tool facing device is configured to move to change the tool facing portion in accordance with a relative moving direction of the sheet with respect to the processing tool when the processing tool performs the processing to the sheet.
Paper conveyance device and printer
According to one embodiment, a paper conveyance device includes a conveyance unit configured to convey long cut paper in a longitudinal direction, a measuring unit configured to measure a length of the cut paper in the longitudinal direction, which is conveyed by the conveyance unit, a reversal mechanism that reverses a front surface and a back surface to each other with conveying the cut paper, and a reversal unit configured to convey the cut paper in the reversal mechanism. The reversal unit conveys the cut paper at a first speed when the measuring unit measures that the length of the cut paper is less than a predetermined length, and conveys the cut paper at a second speed slower than the first speed when the measuring unit measures that the length of the cut paper is equal to or more than the predetermined length.
TAPE EDGE FOLDING ROLLER
A tape applicator configured for applying a tape to a carton (e.g., for sealing and/or assembling the carton). The tape applicator may include an edge folder assembly having an edge folder roller operatively coupled to a support member that allows the edge folder roller to rotate around the support member. The edge folder assembly may also include an alignment assembly (e.g., a self-alignment assembly) that allows the edge folder roller to move axially along the support member. The alignment assembly may comprise one or more biasing members (e.g., springs, or the like) and/or one or more restraining members (e.g., washers, or the like) to aid in allowing the edge folder roller to rotate and/or move axially with respect to the one or more support members in order to account for shifting of the tape transversely through the tape applicator.
