A paper stack press machine comprises a base 1 with a press surface 2, a pressing plate 5, and a pressing plate drive mechanism 6 moving the pressing plate between a standby position at which the pressing plate separates from a paper stack S on the press surface and a press position at which the pressing plate presses the paper stack against the press surface. A surface of the pressing plate facing the press surface is elastically deformable. A pushing bar 11a is arranged at the second side of the pressing plate so as to be movable in an axial direction thereof between a retracted position at which the pushing bar separates from the paper stack and an advanced position at which the pushing bar pushes the paper stack against the press surface.

The coating film transfer tool includes a feeding portion that feeds tape with a coating film, a transfer head that transfers the coating film from the tape onto a transfer target surface, a cassette to which the transfer head is fixed, and a head cap. Shaft portions are provided on either the head cap or the transfer head/cassette, and shaft bearing holes are provided on the other one. Due to relative rotation of the shaft portions, the head cap rotates between a closed position for covering the transfer head and an open position for exposing the transfer head. The distances from the rotation axis to the shaft portion and to the shaft bearing hole change along the circumferential direction. The head cap is biased toward the closed position when located on the closed position side, and is biased toward the open position when located on the open position side.

The film tearing machine includes a bottom plate; a film tearing flattening feeding mechanism fixed on the bottom plate for a flat output of a release film; a film delivering mechanism horizontally and slidably connected to the bottom plate for undertaking the flat release film output by the film tearing flattening feeding mechanism and translating the flat release film to a preset tearing position; and an upward peeling mechanism disposed above the preset tearing position for peeling the release film upward. The film tearing machine ensures flatness of the release film during feeding and stability of fixation during peeling.

The base member may rotate and restraint of rotation of the supply reel is released when the transfer head is pressed against a transferred surface, and the base member is restored to an original position by the resilient restoring mechanism to restrain rotation of the supply reel when pressing of the transfer head is released.

A horizontal-pull coating film transferring tool may include a supply reel, a transfer head, a take-up reel, and a power transmitting mechanism. The tool may also include a base member, wherein a transfer head is attached and a rotation locking member having a supply reel engaging pawl able to lock rotation of the supply reel is disposed. The base member may be supported so as to be able to rotate. Through an elastic return mechanism, a rotational lock of the supply reel is released through rotation of the base member when the transfer head is pressed and the rotation of the supply reel is locked through the base member returning to an original position. A rotation supporting shaft for the supply reel and the take-up reel is disposed so as to be substantially perpendicular to the direction of a pressing edge portion on the front end in the transfer head.

The tape applying assembly is configured to adhere the tape to both the at least one cable and the first and second surfaces defining the corner as the body moves along the at least one cable on the first surface.

Interface housings to couple a scanner and a sheet stacker

Some examples of a document scanning system can include a scanner and a sheet output stacker. The stacker includes an upper surface configured to mate with the scanner configured to scan and transfer contents of a paper document. The stacker is configured to receive paper sheets from the scanner. The stacker includes multiple, upward extending interface housings positioned on the upper surface. The multiple interface housings are configured to be received in respective multiple receiving structures in the scanner, and are configured to mechanically and electrically couple the sheet output stacker and the scanner. The interface housings allow care-free electrical and mechanical pairing of a scanner to a stacker with no tools or adjustments. Simply positioning the scanner on the stacker such that the interface housings are aligned with the receiving structures results in the scanner being automatically guided into place and connected to the stacker through gravity.
