CONTINUOUS MANUFACTURING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR OPTICAL DISPLAY UNIT
A continuous manufacturing apparatus for an optical display unit which allows for laminating a sheet of optical functional film with a panel member, even when length of each of their long sides is wide, without lowering lamination accuracy and/or increasing generation of bubbles by lamination. In a RTP system using laminating rollers having sufficient length not being bent by their own weight, when using a sheet of optical functional film which each of long sides is longer than the length of the laminating rollers, each of the sheets of optical functional film is conveyed on a band of carrier film in a continuously aligned state such that each of short sides extend in a direction crossing a conveying direction, and peeled from the band of carrier film at a laminating part to be laminated with one of opposite surfaces of the panel member.

SYSTEM FOR MANUFACTURING DISPLAY UNIT
A system for manufacturing a display unit including: a transport unit which transports an optical film comprising a polarizing film, an adhesive layer, and a release film, by a predetermined transport length and stops the transport of the optical film; a cutting unit which cuts the optical film in a width direction at a predetermined cutting position without cutting the release film; a separating unit which separates the release film from the polarizing film at the cutting position; and an attaching unit which attaches the polarizing film, from which the release film is separated, to a panel. The transport unit includes a horizontal roll satisfying the following conditional expression:
I*n<H<I*(n+1) in which I is the predetermined transport length, n is an integer equal to or greater than 0, and H is a horizontal distance between a rotation center of the horizontal roll and the cutting position.
SYSTEM FOR MANUFACTURING DISPLAY UNIT
A system for manufacturing a display unit including: a transport unit which transports an optical film comprising a polarizing film, an adhesive layer, and a release film, by a predetermined transport length and stops the transport of the optical film; a cutting unit which cuts the optical film in a width direction at a predetermined cutting position without cutting the release film; a separating unit which separates the release film from the polarizing film at the cutting position; and an attaching unit which attaches the polarizing film, from which the release film is separated, to a panel. The transport unit includes a horizontal roll satisfying the following conditional expression:
I*n<H<I*(n+1) in which I is the predetermined transport length, n is an integer equal to or greater than 0, and H is a horizontal distance between a rotation center of the horizontal roll and the cutting position.
FILM-PEELING APPARATUS
A film-peeling apparatus is adapted to peel a protective film on a surface of a substrate. The surface of the substrate has a bare area which is not covered by the protective film. The film-peeling apparatus includes a punching member, a connector connected to the punching member, and a controller. The controller is configured for driving, through the connector, the punching member to punch at predetermined positions nearby or on a first edge of the protective film adjacent to the bare area.
FILM-PEELING APPARATUS
A film-peeling apparatus is adapted to peel a protective film on a surface of a substrate. The surface of the substrate has a bare area which is not covered by the protective film. The film-peeling apparatus includes a punching member, a connector connected to the punching member, and a controller. The controller is configured for driving, through the connector, the punching member to punch at predetermined positions nearby or on a first edge of the protective film adjacent to the bare area.
Transport system, transport device, recording system, and method of controlling transport device
A transport system includes a transport device and a peeling device. The transport device includes: a transporting belt including an adhesive layer and configured to transport a medium affixed to the adhesive layer; a heating unit configured to be able to heat the adhesive layer; a driving unit configured to drive the transporting belt; and a control unit including a detector configured to detect a load of the driving unit, the control unit being configured to control the driving unit and the heating unit. The peeling device is configured to peel the medium from the transporting belt. The detector is configured to be able to detect the load of the driving unit when the medium is peeled from the transporting belt by the peeling device, and the control unit controls the heating unit on the basis of a detection result from the detector.
Transport system, transport device, recording system, and method of controlling transport device
A transport system includes a transport device and a peeling device. The transport device includes: a transporting belt including an adhesive layer and configured to transport a medium affixed to the adhesive layer; a heating unit configured to be able to heat the adhesive layer; a driving unit configured to drive the transporting belt; and a control unit including a detector configured to detect a load of the driving unit, the control unit being configured to control the driving unit and the heating unit. The peeling device is configured to peel the medium from the transporting belt. The detector is configured to be able to detect the load of the driving unit when the medium is peeled from the transporting belt by the peeling device, and the control unit controls the heating unit on the basis of a detection result from the detector.
LABEL DISPENSER FOR PRODUCT-TRANSPORTING CARTS AT RETAIL FACILITIES
A label dispenser coupled to product-transporting carts at retail facilities includes a label roll support arm supporting multiple label rolls thereon, a label guide arm including openings that permit a leading portion of the backing substrate of a label roll to pass therethrough, and a side wall interconnecting the label roll support arm and the label guide arm. The label guide arm also includes an upper portion located above the openings and configured to support the backing substrates of the label rolls thereon. The label guide arm further includes an edge configured to facilitate separation of a leading peelable label from the backing substrate in response to a force applied by the user when pulling the leading portion of the backing substrate of the label roll through the opening of the label guide arm.
LABEL DISPENSER FOR PRODUCT-TRANSPORTING CARTS AT RETAIL FACILITIES
A label dispenser coupled to product-transporting carts at retail facilities includes a label roll support arm supporting multiple label rolls thereon, a label guide arm including openings that permit a leading portion of the backing substrate of a label roll to pass therethrough, and a side wall interconnecting the label roll support arm and the label guide arm.
