APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PRINTING ONTO A POLYMERIC WEB
The present invention is directed to a method and apparatus for securely applying print to a web of continuous polymeric film. The web can first travel in a machine direction on a tensioning roller and onto a folding board whereupon the web is divided into first and second partial widths with a cross-section of the web taking on a U-shape or a V-shape. In between the cross-section of these two partial widths a printer can be placed such that the printer prints onto an inner surface of first partial width. Once the printing is complete, the folding of the web can be completed such that an inner surface of the second partial width is in contact with, covers, and protects the printed matter placed onto the first partial width.
Sheet postprocessing device that performs postprocessing on plurality of sheets stacked, and image forming system including same
A sheet postprocessing device includes a saddle binding device configured to stack a plurality of recording sheets on a table, abut leading edges of the respective recording sheets against a leading edge cursor, thus to align the leading edges with each other, and bind the center of the recording sheets and fold the recording sheets, and a first pressing member supported so as to pivot in a direction toward and away from the table. The first pressing member is made to pivot toward the table by self-weight thereof, allows the leading edge of the recording sheet delivered to the table to pass toward the leading edge cursor, and presses a portion of the recording sheet in a proximity of the leading edge, at a position upstream of the leading edge cursor, in a delivery direction of the recording sheet.
DENTAL APPLIANCES WITH SHAPED MATERIAL COMPONENTS
Dental appliances with shaped material components and methods of forming the same. Methods may include forming a shell to have one or more cavities that are configured to receive a patient's dentition. The shell may be configured to reposition one or more teeth of the patient's dentition toward a new configuration. One or more flaps of material may be folded to form a specialized feature of the dental appliance. The specialized feature may be configured to impart one or more specialized forces to one or more specific locations of the patient's dentition or dental arch.
