RIBBON SELF-ORIENTING DEVICE FOR TRAVERSED ROLLS
A ribbon self-orienting device that is to be interposed between the source and the target of a traveling ribbon, either during winding of a ribbon into a traversed roll or during pay-off of a ribbon from a traversed roll. A pivoting frame is pivotally coupled to a frame support, at a pivot axis. First and second direction changing means coupled to the pivoting frame serve to change the direction of the traveling ribbon. A force transfer means transfers a transversely directed force, imparted by the traveling ribbon due to the ribbon traversing its traversed roll while under tension, to the pivoting frame causing the pivoting frame to move about the pivot axis. Other embodiments are also described.
Multi-spool threader
A spool of thread holder and threading device for holding a plurality of spools of thread, made up of a frame and a plurality of spool thread holders, said spool thread holders further comprising a rod, a base and a wing. The wing attaches to the rod along the axial length of said rod and the rod extends from the base. Each of the individual spool thread holders comprising the multiple spool thread holder, allows receipt of a spool of thread and the wing maintains the spool of thread adjacent the base. The frame is configured for attachment to a quilting machine to allow thread to unspool from each non-rotating spool of thread during operation under substantially equal tension.
Power cable arrangement for offshore wind farms
A power cable arrangement, in particular marine power cable, for offshore wind farms, including at least one cable drum device with a cable drum. The power cable arrangement includes at least one power cable wound on the cable drum with at least one cable end configured to pre-installing at a cable connection of a wind energy device. The power cable is wound on the cable drum such that a first section of the power cable is wound inversely to a further section of the power cable.

The power cable is wound on the cable drum such that a first section of the power cable is wound inversely to a further section of the power cable.
FLEXIBLE HELICAL CORD MANAGEMENT DEVICE
In one aspect of the present disclosure, a flexible cord management device is provided. The device includes a helical coil base, an s-loop, and a post. The base can be wrapped around at least a portion of a bundled cord. The s-loop includes a first loop and a second loop, where the first loop is coupled to a first end of the base. The first loop can be opened to receive a first end of the bundled cord, such that, the first end of the bundled cord is securely disposed through the first loop. The second loop is coupled to the first loop. The post extends from the first end of the base and can be inserted through the second loop to secure the first loop in a closed position and removed from the second loop to enable the first loop to achieve an open position.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR COILING A CONTINUOUS ROD
A coupling for use with a continuous rod and a reel, and a method of using the coupling to coil a continuous rod on the reel. The coupling includes a threaded box portion for threadedly connecting with an uphole pin end of the continuous rod. The coupling includes a connector for securing the coupling to the reel. Once secured to the reel by the coupling, the continuous rod can be coiled around the reel by rotation of the reel. In an example application, the connector may include a ring for securing the coupling to an outside guide pin of a collapsible service reel.
Creel threader and method of use
A creel threader for use with a creel system that holds a plurality of spools where each spool carries a filamentary material includes a guide supported by the creel, an endless loop carried by the guide, a drive assembly coupled to the endless loop and at least one gripper carried by the endless loop. The gripper receives the filamentary material from at least one of the spools, and the drive assembly moves the gripper and the received filamentary material from the spool to an output end of the creel system for further processing. Related methods of operation are also disclosed.
WINDING MATERIAL GUIDE DEVICE
A guiding device for a material to be wound for a winding machine includes at least one blade guiding unit comprising two fiber guiding blades, which are rotationally drivable in opposite directions and are configured for feeding a material to be wound to a carrier of material to be wound of the winding machine, and the at least one blade guiding unit is configured for conveying a material to be wound which is implemented of inorganic fibers.
The blade guiding unit comprises at least one fiber guiding blade tip, which has an at least semi-oval exterior geometry, and the blade guiding unit comprises at least one fiber directing element, which is implemented at least partly of an inorganic-fiber compatible material and comprises at least one rounded fiber guiding edge.
FILAMENT WINDING APPARATUS
In a filament winding apparatus, a supplying device supplies fiber bundles to a surface of a core material. A moving part is movable relative to the core material, and rotatable around a rotational axis extending in a vertical direction. A small diameter aligning guide part is placed at the moving part and has an opening portion through which the core material can pass. The small diameter aligning guide part guides fiber bundles to an outer peripheral surface of the core material such that the fiber bundles are arranged side by side in a circumferential direction of the core material. The tightening fiber bobbin supporting part is placed at the moving part and rotates around a center of the opening portion. A winding guide rotates with the tightening fiber bobbin supporting part and guides a tightening fiber bundle drawn from a tightening fiber bobbin toward the surface of the core material.
