In some embodiments the fruit may be dried by way of freeze drying, hot air drying, or spray-dried. Additional vitamins and minerals may be included with the powdered strawberries to impart further health benefits to the composition. An advantage of this composition is that it serves several functions, including providing a good source of antioxidants, phytochemicals, and flavonoids.
