HONEY-CANNABINOID THERAPEUTIC COMPOSITION
Honey-cannabinoid therapeutic compositions and methods. A therapeutic composition providing therapeutic effects to at least some patients is described including honey; at least one cannabinoid; and optionally, at least two non-cannabinoid cannabis compounds, hydrogen peroxide, at least one food-approved antioxidant, glucose oxidase, and/or catalase, and water; where the composition is homogeneous; has oxidative power low enough to keep tetrahydrocannabinol oxidation at a rate of less than 20% per month; contains hydrogen peroxide at a concentration low enough to keep tetrahydrocannabinol oxidation at a rate of less than 20% per month; contains at least one food-approved antioxidant at a concentration low enough to keep THC oxidation at a rate of less than 20% per month; contains glucose oxidase at a concentration low enough to keep tetrahydrocannabinol oxidation at a rate of less than 20% per month; and/or contains catalase at a concentration high enough to keep tetrahydrocannabinol oxidation at a rate of less than 20% per month.
AN EDIBLE COMPOSITION
There is provided a food composition comprising at least one edible oil in a gel matrix wherein the composition is a flexible cohesive solid at a temperature in a range of from 3 to 6 C. The composition can contain cocoa solids and/or other edible ingredients such as food pastes, fruit preparations, jams and the like. In at least some embodiments the composition can be provided in sheet form, typically with a thickness in a range of from 2 mm to 6 mm. The composition can be used as a snack by itself or be provided on other food items as an edible layering and further, can be provided in packaged slice form. In a further embodiment there is provided a package of sheets or slice of the composition. There is also described a method for providing the composition.
Process of preparing a concentrated liquid foodstuff
This invention relates to a process of preparing a concentrated liquid foodstuff comprising treating a sugar solution or a concentrate or an extract having a Brix of more than 20, with carbohydrate oxidase and catalase without adjusting the pH before or during the treatment by addition of buffering substances or basic substances, to obtain a concentrated liquid foodstuff, wherein the final pH is lower than 3.
SUGAR COMPOSITIONS FOR TABLETING BY DIRECT COMPRESSION
Directly compressible compositions that include more than 30% by weight of allulose, and tablets obtainable thereof.
Fiber-containing carbohydrate composition
A food product comprises an oligosaccharide composition that is digestion resistant or slowly digestible. The oligosaccharide composition can be produced by a process that comprises producing an aqueous composition that comprises at least one oligosaccharide and at least one monosaccharide by saccharification of starch, membrane filtering the aqueous composition to form a monosaccharide-rich stream and an oligosaccharide-rich stream, and recovering the oligosaccharide-rich stream. Alternatively, the oligosaccharide composition can be produced by a process that comprises heating an aqueous feed composition that comprises at least one monosaccharide or linear saccharide oligomer, and that has a solids concentration of at least about 70% by weight, to a temperature of at least about 40 C., and contacting the feed composition with at least one catalyst that accelerates the rate of cleavage or formation of glucosyl bonds for a time sufficient to cause formation of non-linear saccharide oligomers, wherein a product composition is produced that contains a higher concentration of non-linear saccharide oligomers than linear saccharide oligomers.
FORTIFIED JELLY CONFECTIONERY
The present application relates to the field of confectionery jellies fortified with high concentrations of hydrophobic actives such as phytosterol esters, omega-3 fatty acids (i.e. combinations of DHA and EPA) and/or conjugated linoleic acid (CLA). The ingestible hydrophobic actives are incorporated at high levels by using two types of pectin; an emulsifying pectin and a gelling pectin, wherein the weight ratio of the hydrophobic active to emulsifying pectin ranges from about 5:1 to about 35:1.

Device and method for dispersing paste-like or sticky nutritional substance in a fluid
An elongate device for dispersing a paste-like or sticky substance in a liquid for consumption, injection, or topical use has an integral, outwardly directed hook at a first end for suspending the elongate device from the rim of a container such as a glass, cup, bottle or the like into the interior of the container. The elongate device has one or more scale markings at least on an inner face spaced from the second end of the device for indicating an amount of paste-like substance adhered to a second end portion between a scale marking and the second end.
