A detection device and a detection method for an elevator display module, an elevator including the detection device, and a computer storage medium. The detection device includes: memory; a processor; an I/O interface, configured to be coupled with one or more electroluminescent devices of the elevator display module; a communication module; and a computer program stored on the memory and running on the processor, the running of the computer program causes: receiving a detection request signal for the elevator display module via the communication module; in response to the detection request signal, applying a detection signal on at least one of the electroluminescent devices via the I/O interface; obtaining an operating level associated with the detected electroluminescent device via the I/O interface; and determining whether the detected electroluminescent device is working normally according to a polarity of the operating level.
Method and apparatus for effectively utilizing cab space
A method and a system for efficiently managing space inside an elevator cab is described. The system comprises a camera system, an image processing unit, a processing unit, and a display unit. The system processes the image captured by the camera system comprising images of the occupants including passengers and objects inside the elevator. The captured image is transferred to the image processing unit. The image processing unit processes the image for further evaluation by the processing unit. The processing unit provides possible rearrangement of the passengers and the objects (occupants) to be rendered by the display unit.
Vertical platform lift and control system
Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for a vertical platform lift assembly control system are disclosed. The control system may provide a method for monitoring sensors for the vertical platform lift, and may determine operating modes and fault conditions from the sensor data. An indicator system for the vertical platform lift may provide user feedback based on sensor data and the status of the control system.
Elevator and elevator landing guidance device
Provided is an elevator landing guidance device including: a hall operation panel (2) provided on each of floors, which is configured to output a guide sound (A) for informing a position of the hall operation panel (2) and accept input of landing call registration; and a guide sound generator (3), which is provided to a landing of each of the floors for each of elevator machines, and which is configured to output a guide sound (B) for informing a position of the landing. When the landing call registration is input to the hall operation panel (2), the guide sound (B) is output from the guide sound generator (3) installed so as to correspond to one of the elevator machines, which is assigned to the landing call registration.
Variable thresholds for an elevator system
A method for monitoring thresholds for performance attributes in an elevator system is provided. Aspects includes collecting, by a sensor affixed to an elevator car, sensor data associated with the elevator system wherein the sensor data comprises one or more performance attribute values for a set of performance attributes of the elevator system. Obtaining a threshold profile associated with the elevator system, wherein the threshold profile comprises thresholds for each performance attribute in the set of performance attributes of the elevator system. Comparing the one or more performance attribute values to corresponding thresholds for the set of performance attributes and transmitting an alert for any of the one or more performance attribute values exceeding the corresponding thresholds for the set of performance attributes.

A method for monitoring thresholds for performance attributes in an elevator system is provided. Comparing the one or more performance attribute values to corresponding thresholds for the set of performance attributes and transmitting an alert for any of the one or more performance attribute values exceeding the corresponding thresholds for the set of performance attributes.
ELEVATOR SYSTEMS
An elevator system includes a hoistway (217) including a landing (225A-225C), which includes a landing door (227A-227C), an elevator car (203), comprising an elevator car door (229), arranged to move within the hoistway (217), a first safety switch (231; 233) configured to indicate a potential hazard in the elevator system (201) and a controller (215). The controller (215) is configured, when the first safety switch (231; 233) is triggered, to stop movement of the elevator car (203) and determine whether the elevator car (203) is located anywhere within an unlocking zone (253) in the hoistway. The controller is further configured, if it is determined that the elevator car (203) is located anywhere in the unlocking zone (253), to allow the elevator car door (229) and landing door (227A-227C) to be opened.
Device and method for monitoring a maintenance mode of an elevator installation
A control unit, an elevator-monitoring apparatus and a method are used to monitor a maintenance mode of an elevator installation. The control unit has a controller and a memory device, wherein the controller receives a first signal when a locking device of shaft door is locked and receives a second signal when the locking device is unlocked. The controller compares a chronological signal sequence of first signals and second signals with a reference sequence stored in the memory device for actuation of the locking device and, if the signal sequence of the first signals and second signals matches the reference sequence, ends the maintenance mode and releases a car of the elevator installation for a traveling operation.
Elevator with a safety arrangement and method for creating a safe working space in the upper part of the elevator shaft
The invention relates to methods and arrangements for creating a safe working space in the upper part of an elevator shaft. A position of an elevator car in the elevator shaft in relation to a plurality of safety levels in the elevator shaft may be monitored, where each safety level is associated with a separate clearance of the elevator car from a ceiling of the elevator shaft. The elevator may be controlled to create a safety space zone at the upper part of the elevator shaft. The controlling may include progressively activating separate braking systems in response to the elevator car progressively moving upwards through separate triggering limits of separate clearances, to progressively strengthen an arresting of upwards movement of the elevator car through the elevator shaft.

The diagnostic device for vertical transportation devices includes a housing-unit that defines an outer profile, a storage-unit that is housed in the housing-unit and stores information, an acceleration-detection-unit that is housed in the housing-unit and detects, with the housing-unit attached to a moving object in the vertical transportation device, acceleration in a vertical direction and acceleration in a horizontal direction of the moving object as diagnostic information of the moving object in the vertical transportation device when the moving object has moved, and a control-unit that is housed in the housing-unit and causes the storage-unit to store information about the acceleration in the vertical direction and information about the acceleration in the horizontal direction, which have been detected by the acceleration-detection-unit, in association with information about a detection timing.
