Elevator derailment detecting device
An elevator derailment detecting device according to the present invention detects the opened and closed states of contacts at first and second safety relays 82 and 83 (steps S1 and S2). Since a first NO contact 82b is closed, a first NC contact 82c is opened, a second NO contact 83b is closed, and a second NC contact 83c is opened, it is determined that there is no circuit failure. Then, the opened and closed state of the contactless relay 84 is detected (step S3). When the contactless relay NO contact 84b is closed and the contactless relay NC contact 84c is opened, it is determined that the counterweight 21 of the elevator 11 is in a derailed state.
Combined elevator vibration isolation and load measurement element
An element includes a vibration isolation pad with two opposite substantially planar surfaces, an elastic material layer being permanently attached to a first of the two substantially planar surfaces of the vibration isolation pad, a load sensor arrangement integrated into the combined elevator vibration isolation and load measurement element. A load acting on the combined elevator vibration isolation and load measurement element can be measured with the load sensor arrangement as a function of the compression of the elastic material layer.
Variable thresholds for an elevator system
A method for monitoring thresholds for performance attributes in an elevator system is provided. Aspects includes collecting, by a sensor affixed to an elevator car, sensor data associated with the elevator system wherein the sensor data comprises one or more performance attribute values for a set of performance attributes of the elevator system. Obtaining a threshold profile associated with the elevator system, wherein the threshold profile comprises thresholds for each performance attribute in the set of performance attributes of the elevator system. Comparing the one or more performance attribute values to corresponding thresholds for the set of performance attributes and transmitting an alert for any of the one or more performance attribute values exceeding the corresponding thresholds for the set of performance attributes.
Robot system and operation method thereof
Disclosed are a robot system and an operation method thereof. The robot system includes a central controller, a robot configured to communication with the central controller and capable of autonomous driving, and a first sensing module configured to communicate with the central controller, to be mounted inside an elevator, and configured to measure an electric power of a communication radio wave emitted by a mobile communication device inside the elevator. The robot may transmit or receive a wireless signal on a mobile communication network established according to 5G communication.
ELEVATOR SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR RESTORING OPERATION OF AN ELEVATOR CAR
An elevator system includes an elevator car, an elevator controller, a safety controller and a plurality of safety contacts connected to the safety controller, wherein the plurality of safety contacts monitor the elevator system. The safety controller is configured to receive individual status information from each of the plurality of safety contacts and to prevent movement of the elevator car when the individual status information received from one of the plurality of safety contacts indicates an unsafe condition of the elevator system. The safety controller is configured to connect to a remote computing device, to receive first authentication information from the remote computing device, and to authenticate the remote computing device if the first authentication information meets an authentication condition. If the remote computing device is authenticated, to permit the remote computing device to override the safety controller to enable movement of the elevator car.
BRAKE MONITORING CIRCUITRY, ELEVATOR SYSTEM AND BRAKE MONITORING METHOD
A holding brake monitoring circuit system, an elevator system, and a holding brake monitoring method. The holding brake monitoring circuit system includes a plurality of opening sensors corresponding to holding brakes, wherein the number of the opening sensors is an even number greater than 3, and the opening sensors are configured to be paired to form at least two working groups, and each of the working groups is configured to output an output signal for judging status of the holding brake(s).
Method, an elevator safety control unit, and an elevator system for defining a condition of an elevator car suspension means
The invention relates to a method for defining a condition of an elevator car suspension means. The method includes detecting a rate of change of elongation of the elevator car suspension means in order to define the condition of the elevator car suspension means. The invention relates also to an elevator safety control unit and an elevator system performing at least partly the method.
Access door arrangement of an elevator shaft
An access door arrangement of an elevator shaft, wherein at least one elevator car is moving, includes a door lock, whereby in connection with the door lock a reset switch of an inspection mode resetting device is located, whereby the door lock has a lock part movable between a lock position and an open position and whereby the reset switch is integrated in said door lock to be operated by the movement of the movable lock part or a related movable part. This solution allows an easy resetting of the inspection mode of the elevator.
Device and method for monitoring a maintenance mode of an elevator installation
A control unit, an elevator-monitoring apparatus and a method are used to monitor a maintenance mode of an elevator installation. The control unit has a controller and a memory device, wherein the controller receives a first signal when a locking device of shaft door is locked and receives a second signal when the locking device is unlocked. The controller compares a chronological signal sequence of first signals and second signals with a reference sequence stored in the memory device for actuation of the locking device and, if the signal sequence of the first signals and second signals matches the reference sequence, ends the maintenance mode and releases a car of the elevator installation for a traveling operation.
Elevator with a safety arrangement and method for creating a safe working space in the upper part of the elevator shaft
The invention relates to methods and arrangements for creating a safe working space in the upper part of an elevator shaft. A position of an elevator car in the elevator shaft in relation to a plurality of safety levels in the elevator shaft may be monitored, where each safety level is associated with a separate clearance of the elevator car from a ceiling of the elevator shaft. The elevator may be controlled to create a safety space zone at the upper part of the elevator shaft. The controlling may include progressively activating separate braking systems in response to the elevator car progressively moving upwards through separate triggering limits of separate clearances, to progressively strengthen an arresting of upwards movement of the elevator car through the elevator shaft.
