Methods and apparatus for constructing glass furnace refractory structures
Methods and apparatus for constructing or reconstructing refractory structures, e.g., glass furnace regenerator structures and/or glass furnace structures having walls formed of refractory block and buck stays externally supporting the walls are provided. A header support beam assembly is provided so as to extend at an angle between respective pairs of side wall buckstays. A moveable hoist moveable hoist supporting assembly supported by the header support beam assembly and moveable between the opposed pairs of side and end walls. In such a manner, refractory components, e.g., refractory wall blocks and/or checker bricks, may be hoisted into position when constructing or reconstructing the refractory structure.
Main girder of bridge crane
A main grinder of a bridge crane, intended to be supported by its ends to end girders of the bridge crane and which comprises an elongated box-type central web, whereby there is, formed in the central web on at least one end of the main girder, a cutting slot running substantially in the longitudinal direction of the main girder, and connected to this cutting there is a knife plate, extending from a bottom of the cutting slot substantially to the end of the main girder, for supporting to the end girder.

Method for building a bridge and bridge-building apparatus
A method for building a bridge, said bridge comprising piers and at least one deck. The method including a cantilever step, wherein a girder is set in a cantilevered position relative to a bank or to a constructed zone of the bridge so that the girder comprises a first end overhanging the bank or the constructed zone, and a second end overhanging a construction zone of the bridge, and a construction step, wherein pier elements and deck elements are installed in said construction zone via a first and a second lifting devices mounted movable on the girder between the first and second ends. The first and second lifting devices cross one another along the girder during the cantilever step and/or during the construction step.
HOLLOW PROFILE
A hollow profile (1, 15), in particular crane girder for a crane (14), wherein the hollow profile (1, 15) has a cavity (2) and an outer wall (3) bounding the cavity (2), and at least one fastening element (4) protruding from the outer wall (3) for the, preferably re-releasable, fastening of at least one add-on part (5) to the hollow profile (1, 15), wherein the outer wall (3) has at least one passage opening (6), which opens into the cavity (2), for the fastening element (4), and an intermediate space between that portion (36) of the outer wall (3) which bounds the passage opening (6) and the fastening element (4) which is guided through the passage opening (6) is sealed with a sealing compound (7).

Overload brake for trolley
An overload brake and method for trolley suspended on a flange of a load traveling apparatus girder prevents the displacement movement of a suspended load along a girder by clamping a brake between two symmetrical flange tabs of the girder. The girder is elastically deformed by the load which is applied to the girder by the contact between a surface of the girder and translation wheels that move the load along the girder. Upon sufficient elastic deformation, portions of the girder contact a brake to prevent movement of the load along the girder.
CRANE, IN PARTICULAR BRIDGE CRANE OR GANTRY CRANE, HAVING AT LEAST ONE CRANE GIRDER
A crane, such as a bridge crane or gantry crane, having at least one horizontally extending crane girder, which is designed as a lattice girder having a plurality of braces and on which a crane trolley having a lifting device can be moved. At least some of the braces are planiform, and each of the planiform braces has a flat main surface, which extends transversely to a longitudinal direction of the crane girder. On each longitudinal side of the braces, a first cut-out and a second cut-out are provided in the main surfaces. The longitudinal sides of at least some of the planiform braces are free of edge bends at least between the first and second cutouts.

At least some of the braces are planiform, and each of the planiform braces has a flat main surface, which extends transversely to a longitudinal direction of the crane girder. A first brace and a second brace form a brace pair and are arranged in an X-shape in relation to each other as viewed transversely to the longitudinal direction of the crane girder.
