Spreader for lifting intermodal container
A spreader (10) for lifting an intermodal transport container (22) comprises a main beam (24) extending in a longitudinal direction (L), the main beam formed of a first, upper C-beam of a relatively thicker material thickness and a second, lower C-beam of a relatively thinner material thickness; and an indicator configured to provide an indication if a distance in a transversal direction (T) between a pair of twist-locks (18) is set in a wide-body position when lowered onto respective lifting castings (20) provided with top openings (50) separated by a transversal distance corresponding to a standard position.
BOX GIRDER, IN PARTICULAR CRANE GIRDER, AND CRANE HEREWITH AS WELL AS MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
A box girder configured as a crane girder has two side plates spaced apart from each other, at least one chord plate connecting the two side plates to each other and at least one transverse plate arranged between the side plates and connecting the side plates to each other, with a welded joint provided between the respective chord plate and the side plates. In order to facilitate the manufacturing process of the box girder, at least one form-fitting connection configured as a plug-in connection is provided between the transverse plate and each of the two side plates. A crane may thus be configured having such a box girder. A corresponding method of manufacturing may also be employed for forming the box girder.

BRIDGE CRANE ARRANGEMENT
A bridge crane arrangement includes at least one main girder having a central web and a bottom flange; end girders supporting opposite ends of the main girder; a slide arranged between an end girder and the main girder, the slide allowing the movement of the end girder in relation to the main girder in at least its longitudinal direction and the rotation of the end girder and main girder in relation to each other; and a restrictor to restrict the movements between the end girder and the main girder. On the top surface of the end girder, there is arranged a support platform wider than the bottom flange, the slide includes a slide surface arranged on the top surface of the support platform and/or the bottom surface of the bottom flange, and the restrictor is arranged to the support platform on both sides of the bottom flange.

SWITCH ASSEMBLIES, RAIL-MOUNTED LIFT SYSTEMS, AND RAIL-MOUNTED LIFT UNITS HAVING EMERGENCY STOP DEVICES
A switch assembly for a lift unit includes a switch, an emergency stop device, and a reset actuator. The switch is arranged to move between a closed position, wherein the switch electrically couples a lift motor of the lift unit to an energy source, and an open position, wherein the switch electrically decouples the lift motor from the energy source. The emergency stop device is coupled to the switch and arranged to move the switch from the closed position to the open position. The reset actuator is coupled to the switch and arranged to move the switch from the open position to the closed position, wherein the reset actuator is controllable to move the switch from the open position to the closed position.
