Four-dimensional crane rail measurement systems

A method and system for conducting a non-contact survey of an overhead crane runway system using a survey apparatus that is alternately located in the crane bay or on a crane bridge girder. Disclosed more particularly are a method and system for testing an overhead crane runway beam 3D alignment or an overhead crane runway rail 3D alignment using a 3D laser scanner.

Spreader for lifting intermodal container

A spreader for lifting an intermodal transport container includes a main beam extending in a longitudinal direction, the main beam formed of a first, upper C-beam of a relatively thicker material thickness and a second, lower C-beam of a relatively thinner material thickness; and an indicator configured to provide an indication if a distance in a transversal direction between a pair of twist-locks is set in a wide-body position when lowered onto respective lifting castings provided with top openings separated by a transversal distance corresponding to a standard position.

DEVICE FOR FIXING GANTRY CRANE RAILS IN FACTORY BUILDINGS AND GANTRY CRANE SYSTEM USING THE SAME
20190062128 · 2019-02-28 ·

The present disclosure provides a device for fixing a gantry crane rail in a factory building and a gantry crane system using the same. The device comprises a main body, which comprises a top portion, a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface. The top portion is fixed to a bottom surface of a beam of the factory building, and the first surface and the second surface are substantially parallel to the crane rail. The device further comprises a first protruded support positioned on the first surface and a second protruded support positioned on the second surface.

OVERHEAD SUPPORT STRUCTURE FOR INTELLIGENT LOCOMOTION FOR OBJECTS AND EQUIPMENT ALONG TWO OR MORE AXES OF MOVEMENT

A support structure provides two or more axes of intelligent locomotion for a movable object on the support structure. The support structure can include a track system made up of a plurality of identically configured track modules that are connected end-to-end. Each track module can include an elongated body defining a longitudinal axis and having two ends. Each end can include at least one beveled edge and at least one track surface extending longitudinally along the elongated body. The track surface can include a plurality of protuberances arranged in rows that are parallel to the longitudinal axis of the elongated body, and in columns that are perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the elongated body. The track modules can be connected a power source and include electrical contacts that provide electricity to self-propelled units that travel along the track system.

Crane girder for a crane, in particular for an overhead or gantry crane, and a crane comprising such a girder

A crane girder for a crane, such as an overhead or gantry crane, that is configured as a trussed girder with an upper chord, a lower chord, and braces connecting the chords to each other. At least one of the braces is designed flatly and has a main surface which extends transversely to a longitudinal direction of the crane girder. The brace is removably secured to the upper chord and/or the lower chord.
