A winch arrangement including a cable guide having a plurality of manually-repositionable guide surfaces to guide the cable as it is wound onto the winch drum.

DUMPSTER HANDLING DEVICE & METHOD
20190256284 · 2019-08-22 ·

A dumpster handling device and method is disclosed for handling a first dumpster and a second dumpster comprises a lower support beam for supporting a first dumpster. A lower support beam, a first side frame and a second side frame define a lower dumpster holding channel. A first upper support beam and a second upper support beam define an upper dumpster holding channel. A dumpster lift vertically lifts the first dumpster from the lower dumpster holding channel to the upper dumpster holding channel. A beam lift pivots the lower support beam and the first dumpster. A lower hoist positions a second dumpster within the lower dumpster holding channel. A first telescoping support beam and a second telescoping support beam define an angled dumpster displacement channel. An upper hoist links with the first dumpster for displacing the first dumpster along the angled dumpster displacement channel.

Cable guide device

A cable guide device, including a cable with one end attached to an unwinding/rewinding device, another end having structure for accepting applied force, with cable therebetween guided by a cable guide, wherein as force is applied to the cable, the cable guide causes redirection of the applied force eliminating cable binding as cable is rewound. One embodiment is a trunnion-sheave winch-apparatus for object recovery, including: a trunnion-sheave of a pair of sheaves with cable inserted therebetween, one cable end attached to a winch drum with a hook attached to its other end for connection to an object being recovered, wherein as the object is recovered the force applied to the cable is redirected by the trunnion-sheave causing said cable to be maintained at a minimum of 90? contact with the pair of sheaves regardless of the angle of force being applied to the cable causing elimination of cable binding.

CIRCUIT AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING ELECTRIC POWER DELIVERED TO AN ELECTRIC MOTOR
20190225466 · 2019-07-25 ·

A method and a circuit for controlling electric power delivered to an electric motor are disclosed. A forward control signal is transmitted when a forward command is received while a forward latch is not set. The forward latch is set and the forward control signal is stopped when a power level of the motor exceeds a threshold while the forward command is received. The forward latch is reset and a reverse control signal is transmitted when a reverse command is received. The reverse and forward control signals are not transmitted when no command is received. A reverse latch is optionally set when the power level exceeds the threshold while the reverse command is received. A winch connected to the motor has a cable wound thereon in a forward direction of the motor and unwound therefrom in a reverse direction of the motor, as controlled by the circuit.
