A cable puller and associated methods are shown. Useful example methods include pipe bursting using cable pullers as shown. Cable pullers and methods shown provide a mechanical advantage that increases an amount of cable pulled in one cycle. Selected examples are shown that include a pulley located on a distal end of a moving portion of an extending and contracting beam. The pulley and the mechanical advantage it supplies helps to improve the efficiency of the cable puller and reduce manufacturing cost of the cable puller.

A winch drum light assembly comprises a bracket having at least one attachment location for attaching the bracket to a vehicle or to a vehicle component that is attached to the vehicle; and a light member for producing light and situated on the bracket, the light member including a power connection adapted for connecting the vehicle's power or an alternative source of power to the light member.

An easily changeable assembly type power winch includes a power source, a deceleration device, an outer casing, a rope wheel, a first support frame and a second support frame. After the power winch and two cross plates are assembled to form a basic assembly, a rope outlet board and an electric control box are assembled with the basic assembly to form the power winch in a horizontal assembly mode or an upright assembly mode, and these two assembly modes can be switched quickly to achieve the effects of reducing the manufacturing cost, improving the convenience of assembling, and broadening the scope of application.

The present disclosure provides an appliance for towing compact loads (e.g., logs), and include an auxiliary winch provided in combination with a main winch on a tractor without the need for separate powering means or the need to transport said auxiliary winch to the area adjacent to the load (away from the main winch/tractor.) The appliance may be provided by upgrading an existing tractor winch by, for example, attaching the auxiliary winch to a casing of the main winch, or to the ground adjacent the tractor with the main winch. The auxiliary winch may be furnished with a driving means powered by disposable powering means on the tractor that may include auxiliary pulley block(s) with an accompanying accessory to provide attachment thereof to the terrain, with each pulley block suitable for guiding an auxiliary cable in the area outside of the line between the main winch and the load.

A winch includes a coupling A, a coupling B, a rectangular spring, a gear wheel, a gear rack, a friction ring, and a transmission shaft, etc. By increasing the distance between the adjacent internal teeth of the two-stage planet carrier, it ensures that the three-stage sun gear can be smoothly inserted into the two-stage planet carrier even if the elasticity of spring A is reduced, such that the engagement width between the three-stage sun gear and the two-stage planet carrier can reach the normal requirements. With the design of sliding gear ring and spring C, it can greatly reduce the phenomenon of mis-engagement when the external teeth of the three-stage sun gear enter the internal teeth spacing of the two-stage planet carrier, protect the teeth integrity of the three-stage sun gear and the two-stage planet carrier.

A log hauler device is provided. In some embodiments, an example log hauler device includes a frame attachable to a small machine, and one or more log hauling components attached to the frame.

A hoist system includes a wire rope cable having a first end and a second end. The wire rope cable further including multiple strands twisted into a helical shape. The hoist system further including a lifting mechanism configured to attach to the first end of the wire rope cable. The lifting mechanism including at least one of a rotating drum and a set of frictional rollers. The hoist system further including a motor configured to rotate the lifting mechanism; and a housing configured to house the lifting mechanism, the motor, and at least part of the wire rope cable.
