Reyse Jatzlau Valve Buddy
This invention (called the VALVE BUDDY) is a compact mechanical tool with attachments that aids in the manipulation of heavy and/or ungainly valves, hereafter called the Working Load. The VALVE BUDDY allows operators to safely lift, elevate, move or position a Working Load with or without bodily handling the Working Load thus improving safety and work efficiency.
SYSTEMS, APPARATUS, AND METHODS FOR TRANSPORTING VESSELS
Vessel transfer systems are provide herein. The systems include bogies, including a pivoting bogie and a rack and pinion bogie, as well as associated cradles, carriages, and power and control units. The pivoting bogie includes a first side frame, a second side frame, at least one wheel coupled with each of the first and second side frames, and a lift member coupled with each of the first and second side frames. The lift member is pivotably coupled to the first side frame. The rack and pinion bogie includes a frame and pinion gears coupled with the frame. The pinion gears can be selectively coupled with a gear rack, such as at a shipyard. Also provided herein are methods of use of one or both of the bogies and associated equipment, such as for moving vessels within a shipyard.
Canopy removal and storage systems and methods
The disclosed canopy caddy utilizes a pair of wheeled lifting and rotating mechanisms. The canopy caddy allows a person to remove a canopy from a truck bed, rotate it to a vertical position, and roll it to another location such as for storage. In one example, the user can accomplish these tasks alone or with minimal assistance and little danger of damage to the canopy. The term canopy used herein is intended to encompass but not be limited to small open box covers having lateral outward edges which rest upon the upper edges of a truck bed and provide additional covered storage. The term canopy used in this disclosure is intended to also encompass those apparatuses known as tonneau covers as well as some camper tops.

Extractor
There is disclosed an extractor (10) for extracting an elongate body (12) from the ground. The extractor (10) includes a holding assembly (14) operatively adapted to hold the elongate body (12) to be extracted from the ground and a guide assembly (24) operatively associated with the holding assembly (14). The guide assembly (24) includes (i) a guide follower (26) for operative attachment to the holding assembly (14), and (ii) a guide (28) along which the guide follower (26) is caused to move when the elongate body (12) is extracted from the ground. The extractor (10) further includes a drive assembly (30) operatively associated with the guide follower (26). The drive assembly (30) is adapted to be coupled with a hand tool for applying torque to the drive assembly (30). Applying torque to the drive assembly causes the guide follower (26) to move along the guide (28) thereby to extract the elongate body (12) from the ground.

Cable Tie Handle
A cable tie handle wrapped around an object to aid a user in lifting or carrying the object. The cable tie handle has a cable tie head, a cable tie body, and a grip handle. The cable tie head has a strap passageway extending through the cable tie head. The cable tie body extends from the cable tie head. The cable tie body has an end for feeding into the strap passageway to form a loop. The grip handle is molded with the cable tie body. The grip handle has a plurality of projections for forming an easy to grip surface when the cable tie body is feed through the cable tie head.

Device having a main support and an equipment support
A device comprising a main support an equipment support having a first position and a second position adjustable relative to the height of the main support. A first crank lever is mounted to the first bearing and rotatable about a first rotational axis via a first shaft. A connecting rod is connected to the first crank lever via a first joint and to the equipment support via a second joint. A guide is arranged such that the equipment support is displaceable while guided to remain parallel to the main support. The equipment support passes an upper dead center position when moving from a first to a second position by rotation of the first crank lever and, upon further rotation a stop element contacts a stop.
