Construction and demolition bar and method
A construction and demolition bar and associated methods of use are shown. In one example, a construction and demolition bar is shown that includes a pulling fork located at an end of an arced portion. In one example the pulling fork is oriented at substantially 90 degrees from a rotation plane defined by the bar and the arced portion. In one example, a notch of the pulling fork is within a width of the arced portion, to provide stable pulling force for removing fasteners.
Adjustable Door Lifter
A door lifting device comprises a base plate, a fulcrum extending perpendicularly from the base plate, and a balance beam having a first end and a second end pivotally connected on the fulcrum. The balance beam includes a foot plate attached to the first end of the balance beam, and a door carriage attached to the second end of the balance beam. The balance beam can be adjusted to a selected height relative to the base plate. When the selected height of the balance beam relative to the base is increased, the pivot point is increased relative to the base plate. The balance beam can further, based on the selected height, be pivoted from a first location to a second location such that the door. When the pivot point is shifted away from the door carriage to the second position from the first position on the balance beam, the height of the door carriage relative to the surface is adjusted from the first height to the second height.

Pry bar
A shaft, a wedge and a fulcrum plate connecting the shaft and wedge and having a cross-section in one plane narrower than the shaft and a cross-section in an orthogonal plane wider than the shaft.

Log Lifting Device
A log lifting device for raising a log into a cutting position includes a cylinder, a handle, and a wedge. The handle is coupled to and extends from the cylinder equally distant from opposing ends of the cylinder. The wedge is coupled to and extends from the cylinder proximate to the handle. The wedge is substantially perpendicular to the handle. The wedge is configured to be positioned beneath a felled log, positioning a user to grasp and pull on the handle to rotate the cylinder to apply a lifting force to the log so that the log is supported upon the handle above a surface. The log thus is positioned to be safely cut by the user using a chain saw, or other log cutting implement.

SECURITY BRACKET FOR LAPTOP COMPUTERS
A security kit is provided that enables retrofitting a mobile electronic device with a theft preventing security slot. The slot allows locking therein a lock head, a cable of which is attachable to an immovable object. The security kit includes a security bracket having an attachment plate with a screw hole formed therein, and having a thickened portion having a security slot formed therein. A fork-shaped screw extracting tool is used to extract from the mobile electronic device one of the body screws and then re-use it to attach the security bracket to the housing of the electronic device.
Pry bar for construction applications and methods of using the same
A pry bar for construction applications and methods of using same is disclosed. The presently disclosed pry bar includes a main pry bar member, a handle, and a pry bar head. The pry bar head further includes a top plate, a faceplate that includes two prongs, a tapered slot between the two prongs, and optionally a pivot edge at the top of the tapered slot, and various support members. A method of using the pry bar is provided that includes the steps of positioning a board to be installed and thereby revealing a gap between the board and a previously installed board, positioning the pry bar head with respect to a floor joist and also with respect to the board to be installed and manipulating the handle of the pry bar until the gap is closed, fastening the board in place.
