A passenger conveyor lifting device lifts a unit that includes a frame body constituting at least one lengthwise direction part of a main frame of a passenger conveyor, and a unit device supported by the frame body. The lifting device includes a lifting attachment fitting and a lifting rope. The lifting attachment fitting includes a pair of attachment bases attached detachably to respective upper surfaces of a pair of side frame portions constituting respective width direction end portions of the frame body, and a reinforcing member connecting the pair of attachment bases above the unit device disposed between the pair of side frame portions. The lifting rope lifts the unit while hooked to the respective side frame portions.

A first determination that a range of motion of a user of an exercise machine is between pre-determined motion thresholds is made. While the range of motion of the user is between the pre-determined motion thresholds, a velocity of the cable being below a pre-determined velocity threshold is determined. In response to determining that the velocity of the cable being below the pre-determined velocity threshold while the range of motion of the user is between the pre-determined motion thresholds, a second determination that the user should be spotted is made, Torque of a motor is reduced based at least in part on the second determination that the user should be spotted.

System, method and apparatus for widespread commercialization of hydrogen as a carbon-free alternative fuel source

A loading system for a lighter-than-air craft hull that includes a vehicle that transports cargo containers into a hull loading area. This vehicle engages one of a set of longitudinal rails located inside the hull running fore and aft, where each rail has a unique vertical position and a unique horizontal position inside the hull. There is a crane to raise a particular container transported by the vehicle to the unique vertical position of one of the rails and to move it horizontally to the unique horizontal position of the rail. The crane attaches a rail wheel to the container and suspends the container from the rail. There is a rail tug that pushes or pulls the container along the rail forward into the hull to a final shipping location for that container.

Disclosed is an extractor for an airplane galley. The extractor may be mounted in an interior of a galley storage area. Storage containers may be stored more than one deep in the storage area. The extractor may include a rigid frame with a grip on a first end portion connected to an extractor arm on an opposite, second end portion of the rigid frame. When the grip is pulled by the crewmember. The grip controls, at least in part, the positioning of the extractor arm. When the grip is pulled proximally toward the crewmember, the extractor arm moves correspondingly proximally from its position on the opposite end of the rigid frame. The extractor arm contacts a rearmost storage container in the storage area, and pushes the rearmost container, and any in front of it, toward the opening in the storage area. When the grip is released, at least one constant force spring, stored in a spring housing on or near a distal end of a rigid frame of the extractor, biases the extractor arm and grip distally to a rest position.

An ergonomic apparatus for handling a hinged lid that reduces force required to open the hinged lid and bending by a user, maintains the lid in an open position to prevent accidental closure of the lid, and assists with closing the lid. The apparatus has a horizontal member with an attachment means for removably coupling the apparatus to the hinged lid, a vertical member extending from a proximal end of the horizontal member, and a handle in operable communication with the vertical member. The vertical member and handle are configured relative to the horizontal member such that when the vertical member is positioned on a flat surface, the handle is raised above the flat surface by about 10 to 25 and the hinged lid is maintained in an open position having an angle greater than 90 relative to an opening the hinged lid was covering.
