BEVERAGE MAKER AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING BEVERAGE MAKER
20200239817 · 2020-07-30 · ·

A beverage maker and a method for controlling a beverage maker are provided. The beverage maker may include a fermentation tank forming a space in which a beverage is made, a gas discharge channel connected to an inside of the fermentation tank, a gas discharge valve disposed in the gas discharge channel, a flow sensor disposed in the gas discharge channel, and a controller configured to control a primary fermentation operation of the beverage to be made. The controller may be configured to further perform the primary fermentation operation by opening the gas discharge valve, when completion of the primary fermentation operation is confirmed, acquire information on an amount of carbon dioxide discharged via the gas discharge channel using the flow sensor while the primary fermentation operation is further performed, and perform a bottling inducing operation for bottling of the beverage, which is being made, into an external container, based on the amount of discharged carbon dioxide.

Portable bottle filling station

Containers of the same or different size are filled with a non-viscous fluid at discrete stations, each container being filled independently of each other container. Multiple containers of the same or different size are positioned at multiple discrete stations, each container being at a different station. A non-viscous fluid is flowed into a container to a desired level. The level is sensed with a level sensor and the fluid flow stopped at the desired level. The fluid flow is reversed to prevent fluid dripping when a filled bottle is removed.

Filling system

A filling system includes a conveyance chamber in which a center wheel for conveying vessels is housed inside, a filling chamber where filling machines are housed inside, an inlet/outlet wheel that transfers the vessels from the center wheel to the filling machine, an opening that allows conveyance of the vessels, and a shutter that closes the opening. The inlet/outlet wheel includes grippers configured from a fixed section and a movable section. The movable section can be raised or lowered with respect to the rotational axis of the inlet/outlet wheel. When the shutter closes the opening, movable section is raised or lowered by a predetermined amount relative to the fixed section, after which the movable section is rotated by a predetermined amount to a position where it does not interfere with the shutter.

Method for controlling a beverage filling system
10710862 · 2020-07-14 · ·

A method comprising controlling a beverage-filling system that comprises a filling machine with a ring bowl that feeds beverage to filling elements, each having a valve and a flow meter includes deriving a flow signal and using it to derive a regulating signal for regulating an inflow of beverage into the ring bowl, thereby maintaining a target level of beverage in the ring bowl. The flow signal comes from either summing signals from all flow meters to obtain aggregate quantity of beverage being filled into all containers or a calculation that relies on a measured speed of the filling machine, the number of filling elements in the filling machine, and the volumes of the bottles to be filled.

A method of providing a beverage, including obtaining a beverage container, accessing a dispensing system, entering a volume amount into a user interface, placing the beverage container on a nozzle, and filling the beverage container with the beverage. The beverage container may include a bottom surface including an opening, a ring including a first magnetic material, the ring connected to the bottom surface around the opening, and a cap including a second magnetic material, the cap magnetically coupled to the ring in a beverage container closed position. The dispensing system may include the user interface, a platform including one or more ports, and the nozzle provided in each of the one or more ports. The method may further include moving a translating member with respect to a shaft to position a plurality of apertures in an interior of the beverage container.

SOFT ROBOTIC ACTUATORS FOR POSITIONING, PACKAGING, AND ASSEMBLING

Exemplary embodiments relate to applications for soft robotic actuators in the manufacturing, packaging, and food preparation industries, among others. Methods and systems are disclosed for fixing target objects and/or receptacles using soft robotic actuators, for positioning target objects and/or receptacles, and/or for diverting or sorting objects. By using soft robotic actuators to perform the fixing, positioning, and/or diverting, objects of different sizes and configurations may be manipulated on the same processing line, without the need to reconfigure the line or install new hardware when a new object is received.

VENT TUBE APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHODS WITH TRACEABLE CAP FOR VENT TUBE INTRUSION DETECTION
