Foldaway container drainer
09670051 · 2017-06-06 · ·

A draining device for the primary purpose of completely draining unused contents that frequently remain trapped inside various containers due to an inadequate way to sufficiently remove them. This draining device comprises an upper enclosure, a base abutment and a support bracket with a first end and a second end that is attached to the upper enclosure and the base abutment. When the upper enclosure and base abutment are in an opened, perpendicular position to their adjoining support bracket, an inverted container is placed through the upper enclosure and lowered until the lid extends through, or it rests upon the base abutment. Thus, the remaining contents are collected at the inverted container's cap or lowermost section for additional usage until the remaining contents are completely utilized and the container is thoroughly depleted.

Drainage system for draining viscous liquids from containers

A drainage apparatus for draining viscous liquids from containers includes a collection tote and a rack. The rack includes at least one horizontal support bar with a plurality of tabs extending from the horizontal support bar. The plurality of tabs are configured at an acute angle relative to the horizontal support bar to optimize the draining of viscous fluids from a plurality of containers that are placed on the rack. The drainage apparatus is beneficial for draining fluids such as lubricants and coolants from containers so that the fluids can be repurposed and the containers can be recycled.

OIL FILTER REMOVAL AND DRAIN SYSTEM AND METHOD

An oil filter removal and drain system including an oil-filter-removal assembly and a drain-attachment assembly in functional combination. The oil-filter-removal assembly includes a top-frame, a bottom-frame, a geared-socket-hub, a filter-socket, a plurality of geared-clamp-jaws, a filter-gasket, and a toggle-clamp in functional and structural combination. The drain-attachment assembly includes a drain-attachment-body, a drain-toggle-clamp, a drain-nipple, and a filter-cutter. The drain-attachment assembly is removably affixable to the oil-filter-removal assembly via the plurality keyhole-stud-receivers of the drain-attachment assembly accepting and retaining the plurality of keyhole-studs of the oil-filter-removal assembly. An oil-filter-removal assembly may be used on many different types of fluid filters (e.g., hydraulic fluid, diesel fuel, engine oil, etc.).

A facility for storing bottles includes a base retainer, at least one auxiliary retainer, and one or more struts. The base retainer has an upward-facing cavity and the auxiliary retainers may include downward-facing and upward-facing cavities so that the base and one or more auxiliary retainers may be stacked upon struts received within these cavities. The retainers include spaced apart bottle-receiving bays for receiving bottles for draining. The bays include drain lumina communicating with the retainer cavities and the base retainer may also include a drain which receives a drain tube for plumbing drained fluids from the bottles to a nearby sink basin or utility drain. The struts are preferably hollow to allow fluids collected by the auxiliary retainers to collect and flow out by the drain tube. Each bay includes a flange-receiving slot complementary with flanges on bottles for holding bottles inverted for draining.

A fluid tray is disclosed, the fluid tray comprising a base, a rim, a plurality of sidewalls arranged between an edge of the base and the rim and extending in an upward direction from the base, a reservoir defined by the base and the sidewalls, at least one container securing mechanism integrated or coupled to the rim or at least one sidewall, and at least one drainage spout, and wherein the at least container securing mechanism and the drainage spout operate to drain a fluid from a container into the reservoir when the container is in a substantially vertical position above the reservoir and the container is coupled to the fluid tray using one of the at least one container securing mechanism.

Isolator

An isolator for emptying a container includes a connecting device for connecting the container containing a powder/granular product to the isolator; and a base body defining a connecting opening via which an opening of the container can be introduced at least in sections into an inner space of the base body from an outside environment. A connecting device includes a sealing device arranged at the connecting opening and has an adjustable sealing element. The adjustable sealing element is pressed against an outer wall of the container to produce a sealed state and is released from the outer wall of the container to produce an at least partially open state. A gap is formed between the sealing element and the outer wall of the container that an air flow directed into the inner space of the base body is generated due to the different ambient pressure.
