SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OPTIMIZING JUICE PRESS CUT PRODUCTION
Described herein, in some embodiments, are systems and methods for optimizing a press cycle for producing one or more press cuts from a harvested fruit/vegetable. In some embodiments, optimizing the press cycle includes optimizing the quality of the juice by identifying and controlling specific pressing parameters to produce the maximum volume of the highest quality juice for every press cut identified by the system and/or the individual components responsible for the juice production. The system might identify the pressing factors for optimum performance using historical juice data from current and prior harvests, laboratory results from the actual juice analysis, other current or past harvest data, and information from juice post processing that are integrated into mathematical models enabling the system and/or process owners to predict certain finished product characteristics from the pressing operations.

PORTABLE HEATED PRESS
A portable heated press device is disclosed that has an upper and lower member, each having an electrically heated platen, hingedly attached to one another near the platens. The lever design allows for multiplying the force applied to the member. An insulator ring is used to thermally insulate the heat from the platens from the handles of the device. The device can include a locking mechanism at the end opposite the platens to apply and maintain pressing force at the platens. The device can also be opened to 180 degrees to allow one platen to be used as a hot plate.
Citrus press drinking vessel
An improved hand operated citrus press is provided in direct operational combination with a liquid drinking vessel. The citrus press is provided removably connected to, and in fluid communication with, the liquid drinking vessel. The fluid contained within the drinking vessel can be infused with the essences from the ground or comminuted fruit from the citrus press. The fluid communication between the comminuting volume of the citrus press grinder assembly and the container allows these all natural ingredients to steep directly with the beverage, creating refreshingly flavored drinks that are as rich and natural in nutrients as its ingredients.
Oil extractor
An oil extractor that includes: a main body housing; a motor; a feed hopper detachably coupled to the upper end of the main body housing to feed grain; a shell that communicates with the lower end of the feed hopper to receive the grain and is detachably coupled to one side of the main body housing; a screw shaft inserted into the shell and having an end portion that passes through one side of the main body housing and is coupled to the motor; a fastening means for detachably coupling the shell to the main body housing; and a shell cover surrounding the shell. The shell cover has a groove formed on its lower portion for receiving the shell and is supported by the main body housing and moves between a first position at which the shell is covered and a second position at which the shell is exposed.
LEMON SQUEEZER
An improved lemon squeezer comprises of a stand. The stand has a footprint that extends outward from the front of the stand. The stand defines a top and a bottom plate. The bottom plate is a plate that defines a plurality of depression and it defines a fluid receiving a cavity. The top plate defines a plurality of protrusions that insert within the bottom plates depressions when the plates are squeezed together via a lever mechanism that is attached to the top plate.
Method and apparatus for citrus juice processing
An improved citrus juice finisher is provided for producing thin juice. A first aspect is an improved screen design with small perforations having diverging walls in the direction of juice moving through the screen to prevent blinding of the screen by entrained particles. A second aspect is a juice modulator which pulverizes the entrained particles to a desired size and viscosity. A third aspect is an improved multi-vane finisher with increased yield and capacity.
SYSTEMS, DEVICES AND METHODS FOR GENERATING FRUIT JUICE
The present invention relates to a novel citrus juicer.
PRESS BAG SUPPORT SYSTEMS, APPARATUS AND METHODS
A reusable, flexible outer support bag for supporting a disposable filter bag removably placed inside the outer support bag during a juice pressing operation which applies pressure against the outer support bag and inner filter bag, the outer support bag having one or more juice outlets whereby juice pressed from a foodstuff located inside said disposable filter bag passes through the filter bag and is directed out of said outer support bag through the juice outlets, the outer support bag providing support to the filter bag and preventing rupture thereof during the application of pressure.
DEVICES AND METHODS TO DISINTEGRATE FOODS
The subject application is directed to a food processing device to extract juice. The device includes an inlet coupled to a disintegrator. The inlet is configured to accept food items and the disintegrator configured to disintegrate food items passed through the inlet. The device further includes a separator that accepts the disintegrated food items and separates out the liquid components from the food item. The device further includes a reservoir that is coupled to the separator for accepting and holding the liquid components. The reservoir includes a translucent member for viewing of liquid levels within the reservoir, and a valved outlet. The valved outlet is configured to allow or prevent the flow of liquid from the reservoir through the valved outlet.
