SYSTEM AND A METHOD FOR AUTOMATED PROCESSING OF A PLANT
A system and a method for automated sorting and trimming a plant. The system includes a trimming station, adapted to identify undesired portions of the plant, and to trim the undesired portions off the plant. The system may further include a guiding assembly adapted to ensure that the plant is aligned with the trimming station. A controller controls operation of the trimming station and of the guiding assembly. The system may further include a sorting station adapted to determine whether the plant is infected or contaminated. The controller may be adapted to control operation of the sorting station.
INDUSTRIAL-SCALE PROCESSING OF CANNABIS MATERIAL
The present application relates to processing of Cannabis material, particularly on a large scale, such as at an industrial level Cannabis is typically a controlled and regulated substance, and has traditionally been processed in low quantities. A human-based manual and/or labour-intensive processing implementation is not scalable, and is therefore infeasible at an industrial level. Disclosed herein are systems and methods for facilitating industrial-scale processing of Cannabis material.

Viscous food product grinding and dispensing system
A viscous food dispensing system includes a chute inlet configured to funnel particulate food product into a sleeve and a transport device having an over-center cutout. The transport device is configured to rotate within the sleeve to convey the particulate food product. A processing surface extends downward from the chute inlet towards a curved base of the sleeve along a portion of the transport device. The processing surface is spaced laterally apart from the transport device to define a processing zone between the processing surface and the transport device. The particulate food product is processed as the particulate food product is captured between a leading edge of the over-center cutout and the processing surface while the transport device is rotating.

Apparatus and method for automatic blade and razor for use in plant trimming
Embodiments of the present invention pertain to a plant trimming device having a removable cutting cartridge. A direct-drive motor is magnetically coupled to the cutting cartridge. The cutting cartridge houses a blade and a set of rotating blades. Plant parts are cut by the rotating blades across the razor. The cartridge is mounted on rails and has a handle to facilitate the ease of inserting and removing the cutting cartridge. Thereby, an old cutting cartridge is readily removed and replaced by a new cutting cartridge. Furthermore, the cutting cartridge can easily be removed for cleaning and later re-inserted back into the plant trimming device.
Modular plant trimming system and method
Embodiments of the present invention pertain to a modular plant trimming system. A number of plant trimming machines are placed side by side. These plant trimming machines trim leaves from a plant. A sensor detects when one or more of the plant trimming machines are added or removed from the system. A processor then balances a load of plants to be trimmed to be split between the currently available number of plant trimming machines.
Apparatus and method for automatic plant trimming tumbler
Embodiments of the present invention pertain to a tiltable tumbler for use in a plant trimming machine. Plants are placed in a tumbler. As the tumbler rotates, leaves extending through slots in the tumbler by a vacuum are trimmed off. A mechanism is used to adjust the tilt of the tumbler. Thereby, the rate by which the plant material in the tumbler is processed is faster with a higher tilt or slower with a lower tilt. The degree of tilt is adjustable either manually or automatically via a computer.
Curvilinear surface classification of feed stock
A method and system for air classification of a milled feed stock includes generating a feed stream by combining the milled feed stock with at least one gasflow element, wherein the milled feed stock includes a plurality of particle sizes. The method and system includes directing the feed stream across a curvilinear surface, such that the milled feed stock in the feed stream separates into a plurality of classification streams, each of the plurality of classification streams based on the particle sizes of the milled feed stock. Therein, the method and system separates the plurality of classification streams and collects each of the plurality of classification streams, thereby classifying the milled feed stock contained therein based on the particle sizes for each of the plurality of classification streams.
