CAPSULE CONTAINING FUNCTIONAL SUBSTANCE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAID CAPSULE
It is an object of the present invention to provide a capsule comprising a functional substance and having good shape stability and a good feeling of use. A method for producing a capsule, comprising steps of mixing gelatin and a functional substance; adding a carbodiimide crosslinking agent to crosslink the gelatin with the carbodiimide crosslinking agent; solidifying the crosslinked gelatin; and grinding the solidified gelatin.
Method of producing edible film, film formulation, and edible film
An edible powder formed of particles smaller than a film thickness, a predetermined component, and an edible liquid having a mass 35% or less of a mass of the powder are kneaded to generate a plastic solid material containing a liquid. The solid material is extruded from a mold to plastically deform the solid material and a predetermined cross-sectional shape is imparted to the solid material. The solid material having the predetermined cross-sectional shape is sliced with a cutting edge so as to have a film shape having a predetermined thickness.

INSECT PRODUCTS AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURE THEREOF
Provided are insect products and methods for producing an insect product comprising solid insect particles. Methods for producing an insect product can include providing a dried cricket powder, providing a dried insect, or grinding wet-grinding, or shearing at least one insect into a paste or powder; adding water or an enzyme to the paste or powder to form a slurry; and filtering the slurry to produce an insect product. Methods for producing a chitin product are also provided that include providing a dried cricket powder or grinding, wet-grinding, or shearing at least one whole insect into a paste or powder; adding water or an enzyme to the paste or powder to form a slurry; and filtering the slurry to produce an insect product comprising chitin.

Substrate structure injection treatment system and method for ingestible product system and method
A computationally implemented system and method that is designed to, but is not limited to: electronically directing control of at least partial treatment of the one or more portions of the one or more ingestible substrate structures according to the treatment instructional information regarding the one or more subsequent injection operations including at least one or more injections of one or more materials into the one or more portions of the one or more ingestible substrate structures to form at least in part the one or more selected ingestible products subsequent to and based at least in part upon the electronically receiving the user status information and the electronically receiving the selection information at least in part identifying the one or more selected ingestible products. In addition to the foregoing, other method aspects are described in the claims, drawings, and text forming a part of the present disclosure.

Mixer apparatus and method
A food mixing machine appliance is presented for mixing ingredients. The machine has a base unit that can rest on a horizontal surface, a motor positioned in the base unit, a bowl attached to the base unit, and a mixing tool positioned in the bowl. The bowl has a longitudinal axis that extends at an angle that is non-parallel relative to a gravitational direction while the base unit is resting on the horizontal surface, and the mixing tool is operably connected to the motor to receive a torque from the motor and to move within the bowl to mix contents of the bowl. The non-parallel longitudinal axis of the bowl may improve mixing quality and may allow the mixer to better mix small amounts of ingredients in the bowl.
