System and method for monitoring field profiles based on data from multiple types of sensors
In one aspect, a system for monitoring field profiles may include a vision-based sensor configured to capture vision data indicative of a profile of a field, with the profile being at least of a crop canopy profile of the field or a soil surface profile of the field. The system may also include a secondary sensor configured to capture secondary data indicative of the profile of the field. Furthermore, a controller of the disclosed system may be configured to receive the vision data from the vision-based sensor and the secondary data from the secondary sensor. Moreover, the controller may be configured to determine a quality parameter associated with the vision data. Additionally, when the quality parameter falls below a minimum threshold, the controller may be configured to determine at least a portion of the profile of the field based on the secondary data.
Rotatable apparatus for metering and treating agricultural granules
An agricultural apparatus for metering and treating granules such as seeds and granular crop additives. The apparatus comprises a metering device rotatably mounted on a spray chamber, the spray chamber connected to a conveyance device intake such as an auger. The metering device is rotatable between first (use) and second (transport) positions.

METHOD FOR REDUCTION OF SALT STRESS SYMPTOMS DURING PLANT CULTIVATION IN SALINE CONDITIONS BY APPLICATION OF CARBON-BASED NANOMATERIALS (CBN) TO GROWTH MEDIUM AND APPLICATIONS OF SAME
A method for reducing salinity stress symptoms in a seed plant, comprising the step of adding carbon-based nanomaterials into a salinity growth medium in which the seed plant is cultivated, the salinity growth medium is in a salinity condition which causes the seed plant cultivated in the growth medium demonstrates the salinity stress symptom.
Miniature sensors with probe insertable into and for obtaining measurements from plants and a variety of other mediums
Apparatus, methods, and systems for transducing measurements from a medium of interest. One non-limiting example is in planta monitoring of plants. In one aspect, a micro- or nano-scale probe body includes one or more microprobes (e.g. microneedles or waveguides) to access desired plant tissue, and one or more microsensors on the probe body. A microcircuit on or in the probe body transduces relevant measurements from the microsensor(s). An output interface allows storage, communication, or transfer of the transduced measurement for further use. Non-limiting examples are processing into estimations of chemical concentrations or the like for biochemical sensing. As such, if used as in planta sensors, they can be minimally invasive and cost effective for both single use and use in sets for plural plants with one central station.

Mixing Inclined Belt Conveyor having Static Baffles with Seed Passages
A mixing inclined belt conveyor capable of mixing particulate material, specifically wet, freshly treated plant seeds for agricultural purposes. Inserting a plurality of mixing baffles into the stream of the particulate material induces a backflow of the particulate material. In the case of wet, freshly treated plant seed, this backflow causes a mixing, polishing, and drying of the plant seed. The mixing distributes the seed treatment into an even coat by rubbing the individual seeds of the seed flow stream together. The mixing baffles are oriented to induce backflow and sideways lateral movement and may incorporate a passage to allow increase material flow rate.
Mixing and Drying Conveyor
A conveyor having a conveyance structure, belt, and gas manifold. The gas manifold disposed within or on an exterior portion of the structure. The gas manifold having one or more manifold outlet ports to dry, condition, or treat a metered stream of seed within the conveyor. The manifold may be operably connected to a recirculating air system providing the vacuum source and pressurized air source of atmospheric or conditioned air. A filter and vacuum port may extract debris or humidity from the metered stream of seed within the conveyor. A plurality of mixing baffles may be longitudinally spaced apart through the conveyor in a laterally alternating manner to mix the metered stream of seed. The conveyor may be used to transfer, mix, dry, condition and treat the metered stream of seed between multiple stages of treatment.

INFERIOR-ELIMINATING AND SUPERIOR-SELECTING BREEDING METHOD FOR SYNERGISTICALLY IMPROVING WHEAT YIELD AND QUALITY
The present invention discloses an inferior-eliminating and superior-selecting breeding method for synergistically improving wheat yield and quality. A method for breeding target wheat varieties with improved yield and quality is provided herein, which combines the advantages of pedigree method and hybrid method, and provides a method for selection of all generations using molecular marker in combination with phenotype identification, and for selection of each generation according to different standards. Different from the derivative system method, the method reserves the traceability of line history and genetic relationship and the characteristics of simple operation and abundant genetic diversity of the hybrid method. The parents have clear backgrounds before combination and the selection process is simple and easy to operate, with clear goal, especially for those with no breeding experiences, it is easy to master and provides technical support for the rapid breeding of new varieties of high-quality and high-yield wheat.
