System and method for generating stabilized, gas infused liquids containing high and ultra-high concentrations of infused gas, and methods using the stabilized, gas infused liquids
A method for producing stabilized, gas-infused liquids containing ultra high concentrations of infused gas, includes steps of: generating a gas-infused liquid in a sealed vessel under a high pressure of at least 20 psi; stabilizing the gas-infused liquid by passing the liquid while still under the high pressure through a tubular flow path arrangement which compresses the infused gas into nano bubbles in the liquid; infusing an additional amount of the gas into the stabilized liquid by injecting the same, while still under high pressure, back into the sealed pressure vessel along with more of the gas; and again stabilizing the liquid by again passing liquid, while still under the high pressure, through the tubular flow path arrangement to thereby form the additional amount of infused gas into nano bubbles in the liquid.
Water treatment system and method
A water treatment system comprising a first reactor and a second reactor arranged to be placed in series in a body of water, the first and/or second reactor comprising at least one cell for housing biomedia. A mid-settling zone is provided between the first and second reactors for separating solids in the water. A method of treating water, the method comprising passing water to be treated through a first reactor and then a second reactor arranged in series in a body of water, the first and/or second reactors comprising at least one cell for housing biomedia, wherein the water is passed through a mid-settling zone between the first and second reactors before passing through the second reactor.

Submersible aeration apparatus
A submersible aeration apparatus includes an air passage formed on a pump chamber to draw air into the pump chamber. A suction port formed on a lower side of the pump chamber draws liquid into the pump chamber. An impeller draws air through the air passage and liquid through the suction port. An ejection passage ejects the air and liquid. The impeller includes a main plate portion to cover a connection port connecting the air passage to the pump chamber. A vane portion protrudes downward from a lower surface of the main plate portion on the suction port side. The main plate portion has a cut-out part connecting the air passage and the pump chamber, and a groove part recessed from an upper surface of the main plate portion toward the lower surface and extending from an inner peripheral side toward an outer peripheral side of the main plate portion.
Flow-through oxygenator
An oxygen emitter which is an electrolytic cell is disclosed. When the anode and cathode are separated by a critical distance, very small microbubbles and nanobubbles of oxygen are generated. The very small oxygen bubbles remain in suspension, forming a solution supersaturated in oxygen. A flow-through model for oxygenating flowing water is disclosed. The use of supersaturated water for enhancing the growth of plants is disclosed. Methods for applying supersaturated water to plants manually, by drip irrigation or in hydroponic culture are described. The treatment of waste water by raising the dissolved oxygen with the use of an oxygen emitter is disclosed.
